Yes, but Mardi Gras jazz doesn't really mesh with 50s tiki bar the way the Halloween soundtrack did or I suspect the holiday and summer selections will. The trick is to get the spirit of the season filtered through the vibe of the Coconut.

Maybe they're cash cows and I'm oblivious, but everything in between the Coconut and the escape rooms strikes me as a lackluster holdover from an earlier era in Citywalk's history. Bob Marley in particular seems like its ripe for repurposing. Rising Star and Bubba Gump fail to interest me at all, but knowledgeable folks on here say they do well, so I suppose they serve a purpose.

Don't you DARE touch Bob Marley's

AFAIK - The SNL was always just a concept, but never anything that came close to fruition.

Which is why saying it’s cancelled is only half right. They hire a ton of people to come up with concepts, lots that don’t happen.

Man I would love to see a whole list of concepts they had that never came to fruition.

A lot of these would have been cool.

I bet "interactive museum" was the WWE Hall of Fame, lol

If the stars align and the southern campus where EU is being built gets its own CityWalk complex in a future expansion, I'd certainly love to see most of these added there.

Can't you already find most of this stuff at an assortment of malls in Orlando?

Yeah, but Uni tends to do them better (this doesn’t apply to outside franchises, of course).

Of that list, I could go for a retro arcade (not a Dave and Busters), comedy club (or better yet, an improv theater), interactive museum, or any of the shows. With BMG gone, what Uni really needs are the shows.

When I was new again to Universal after a single trip long ago I even stopped at the concierge in CW and asked about a comedy club. Seems like such a fit

Perhaps Universal knows they don't have a chance against the best stand up comedy act on the planet up the street . Namely, 'The Chapek Follies'. :oO:

They ought to have a Jazz lounge. A really nice arcade would be swell too, especially if they did it in partnership with Nintendo.

How many people vacationing to UNiversal are excited to go to the mall in Orlando? Universal is trying to keep as many people on site for as long as they can .

It wouldn't let alone the fact Nintendo would never license it.
