Eh, I never got to do iFly, but if I really wanted to check it out, I could go to the better facility in Ontario. Who knows, maybe I’ll check it out soon. I have an excuse to go down there now.

That was one of those attractions that should've died way sooner than now. It's not a total loss, unlike the bowling alley.

Curious how the new escape room will do because Citywalk doesn't have a strong "COME HERE!" vibe

I recall them having like shock lighters and pens and other things when i visited the park when around 10.

Honestly the bigger loss this month is probably Sparky's, but that's because of how me and @Jonathan talked about it and how we figured out that it was basically a CityWalk institution.

Kind of feels like our equivalent to Cartooniversal going away, though I doubt they'll demolish a lot for it's replacement.

The closure of Abercrombie and Fitch leaves an insane size vaccum. That store is genuinely massive retail, and the main thing that comes to mind is if they might be looking at moving the Universal Studios Store towards this space.

In the context of other closures, this is actually big because it raises a lot of questions to what they'd fill it with.

Sunset at Citywalk last night. Saw Sonic 3 there and had to get Sparky’s and sort of look at iFly for a couple seconds on the way to pay my respects.

Given the reasons for Mini Monsters closure--perhaps it might have to do with the desire for more control by Universal over what's in there? With P515 and P294 likely a few weeks away from breaking ground, it would certainly make sense that they'd want to set things up more properly before the "Bubble" is established.

It's official! IFly has now entered the Studio Vaults, after what feels like two decades of operation. It will be demolished and made way for P294's Eastern Security Hub!

With the advent of P515 and P924's permits being uncovered by the Parkfans crew, I think it's actually time to have a dedicated thread on the subject of the P294 permits. And before we go further--major shoutout to Parkfans for the permits being uncovered and looked into as they have been.

To dive in--P294 is an extensive three-location based project, that will be redistributing and repositioning the Security Check stands to key positions, in order to effectively curate a "Universal Bubble".
