I went to Epic Universe. Did a lot. You may have questions. AMA.

Some notes:

Only ate at Oak & Star.

I did not ride:

Constellation Carousel
Fyre Drill
Dragon Racer Rally

Donkey Kong Country food items: did you see if Epic Universe is getting the Wild Dog? I know people were getting the ice cream yesterday.

Was there one thing (or more if you are feeling generous) that you didn’t know about before, but which you thought was a nice touch/hidden gem?

So the only food we had was at Oak & Star. By the time I went to DKC, it was getting close to closing time and had other priorities. I need to spend a day just for food alone.

Pleasantly: The scope of the MoM queue. I knew it was massive, but images do NOT do it justice.

Surprised in General: I expected more tricks and visual fun with the Cirque show.

OOOOF. I gotta marinate on that one. MoM definitely is in the conversation of Top 5. Monsters... maybe back half of Top 10. I may need another ride on both to be sure.

Darkmoor toilets are black!

The screen resolution on Potter and Monsters makes Bourne look like 1080p.

1. From what you can tell, was everything working on the Ministry ride?
2. Where do you think people should star and end there days?
3. Favorite food option?

How was using the sprayer for Fyre Drill? Also, please tell me how cute and amazing and animated the Mooncalf is!

Did you get to look at all the merch? I'm sure we have barely seen all of it

What's the walking distance like from one portal to the next, especially Dragons to Dark?

As hosted media, we were fortunate to have the ability to just walk on the attractions.

1. Yes. We had a breakdown before we boarded, but they did a few cycles to make sure everything was working before allowing us to ride.
2. Start with the thing you want to do most. End your day near Celestial.
3. Only did Oak & Star - but it was good!

I didn't personally use it, but watching other people use it - it seemed fairly easy to aim and shoot.

I think I saw most of it. Walking into the Monster's exit shop, I thought to myself that I was going to go broke.

They definitely aren't short walks. But I was able to bounce from Nintendo, Monsters, and Potter for the last hour to grab some last-minute photos. Dragons to Dark? Probably a 3-5 min walk.

What did you get to see at The Plastered Owl other than the drinks?

I'm just SUPER curious for a big reason that I'm too scared to tell for a reason.

Nothing out of the ordinary. I wouldn't know what you're looking for unless I get specifics.

Which side of Stardust Racers did you ride? How big of a difference is there between them?
How will Oak and Star Tavern operate for normal guests?
What are your favorite areas of the Monsters Unchained queue other than the pre show?
How great was interacting with other media members and how exhausted/excited/overwhelmed was everybody?

1. We rode both! They are mostly similar, but the green side (technically, it's "off-yellow") has better visuals of the "race" between the two. It's also the side I'd recommend of the two.
2. Very similar to their recent F&B options. Sit at a table and mobile order, with the option to order at the counter.
3. The X-Ray room.
4. It's always great to experience media days because I assume everyone is doing this because they are big fans and love the parks, so you have all these nerds experiencing something for the first time together. By 7 pm, we were all happy, but definitely exhausted. Some chose to call it a night and work on stuff later (like me), others pushed through and burned the midnight oil to get out their content ASAP.

Are the official colors "yellow" and "off-yellow?"

Per the explanation.

Photon is off-yellow/green, Pulsar is yellow.
