I would have possibly voted for Hollywood Studios too, if it wasn't for that big hat. It's a beautiful entrance. However, I went for Port of Entry. To me, it's perfect in every way.

Rumors have it the water tower is becoming the icon of DHS again, leaving the hat to be removed/moved

George will probably do this when he takes over, but let's not turn this into a George discussion.

Islands of Adventure for me. Nothing gets me more excited than seeing the lighthouse and finally entering and seeing "The Adventure Begins" accompanied by its amazing soundtrack. The making a left turn with the Incredible Hulk towering over me and Marvel Superhero Island in sight.

Honorable mention to Magic Kingdom. Love Main Steets atmosphere and the castle

I'm going with Sea World on this one. The original Port of Entry.

Port of Entry. One of my biggest memories as a kid was staring at the "The Adventure Begins/The Adventure Lives On" walkway. I still look at it every time I go. It just has that epic feeling walking into it, and it truly is one of my best memories. When I was younger I was taught then when I was in a tough spot, to think of a happy place. That happy place was crossing that bridge into MSHI (and yes I know it doesn't really count as the entrance), but that is just my favorite moment in life, and something that always puts a huge grin on my face when I get to see it.

I know exactly what you're talking about. My excitement builds from the moment I see Hollywood Rip, Ride, RockIt in the distance, to when I see "The Adventure Begins" and hear the enchanting music all around me I get chills of excitement for what is to come. Plus, the wonderful theming of Port of Entry is just perfect. There is no other land, anywhere, that is even remotely themed like Port of Entry. It's just so unique.

And I think you might like this video: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=VshQU6WpXMA ;)

Well I know. I'm just saying, even if I'm going to Islands of Adventure, seeing HRRR still gets me excited.

Seeing a roller coaster brings excitement...no matter if it's an eyesore or not.

It's an eyesore when you look at it directly compared to the theming of USF, so seeing it from a distance doesn't make it an eyesore, otherwise Hulk would be an eyesore from a distance as well. And seeing HRRR from a distance reminds him he is just arriving at a place he loves to be, I was the same way when I saw the Hulk on my way to our hotel, before Rockit's time. And last time I checked you got mad for people picking your posts apart, so don't turn around and do the same thing. And Bryce that video was awesome, every once in a while I'll go back and listen to the sound track of IOA that someone on here that I can't remember was kind enough to post.

So my suggestion is that if these entrances are just originated in Orlando (as the poll only contains Orlando parks) then it should be specified to that OTHERWISE we should add more parks :D I can't wait to see what Cedar Point's new entrance will look like but I still went with Port of Entry....Magnificent stuff!

Seeing how the thread is located in the "Disney, SeaWorld & Universal - United" sub-forum, the thread is fine as it's titled.
