I guess since Space Mountain is getting the re-do it makes sense to overhaul the rest of Tomorrowland. Now the question is if any other resort is getting this? If I'm not mistaken, I think every single one has a Buzz except HKDL now which became Ant-Man.
So is it a retro summer announcement we're waiting for? The tribute store/parade/nighttime show all included? That's... enough to warrant a visit for sure.
I fully pictured Encanto being our version of Mystic Manor from HKDL for la casita.
But if they want to keep the boat ride bonanza going, there's still hope for Coco in Gran Fiesta Tour too.
Yup. And if the plans are true for Zootopia to move into Tree of Life, Indy to replace Dinosaur, and Encanto, we're only netting 1 new attraction. Back to the drawing board, guys & gals. This park needs more.
It'll give it a new chance at a reputation. Disney Adventure World isn't the work Disney park in its entire line-up. But Walt Disney Studios Paris has been for its entire existence. :lmao: I will be there in a few days so let's see where it's at now. First visit since 2015.
It looks like Joker's La La Land. :lmao: I actually just saw the original for the first time last night and I thought the music played a surprisingly big role. This is a more natural progression than I expected it to be, so confused as to why I've seen so much pushback from "fans."
Eh.. I know a decent amount of people who are nowhere near our level of fandom who have been. It's a major attraction in California. Same thing with Universal Hollywood. If you're a family and a tourist and making your way to LA or its surrounding areas, chances are you might consider checking...
Sure but at that price point, you could get a full week's vacation or more for that kind of money which is easier to justify. $5000 here and you were back out on the street in 2 days. That's not a vacation. That's a very pricey excursion.
And I don't know about you but once Splash came offline and if there's anything else ever down or on refurb, with Tron inaccessible without the virtual queue and with crowds the way they've been, I've looked at MK lately like hey... maybe there's actually not THAT much to do here considering.
if we know Autopia is staying and going electric, and we won't touch Star Tours, Buzz, and Space, other than getting something in the Magic Eye theater and a peoplemover, how much of an overhaul could there truly be?
I really would hate to walk into DCA and turn left into Avatar. Just seems wrong. I love the concept art and the idea of it coming to the resort somehow, but don't think it makes sense to have it right there.
They've also been treating the parks like they do their movies: everything needs to be a quarter billion dollar project or it's not worth the resources. There's shuttered attractions and empty theaters but the focus is somehow still on E-tickets only when what used to be most memorable about the...
But also... is anyone else surprised that they've been mum on the Destination D23 announcements from last year that sounded Blue Sky this entire time, and now all of a sudden they're confirming to be true? :lmao: But hey, we'll take it.
