Monster Hunter XX coming to Switch - Nintendo Everything

The 3DS version of this game has no confirmed release outside of Japan. If Nintendo and Capcom were smart they would boost the Switch by making this exclusive to it in the west.

It has been given a japanese release date for July 25th.

This, and Pokemon would be huge wins for Nintendo in Japan; as it would drive more commercial sales. I am expecting a Pokemon announcement for E3 (along with another IP); as they need to hit hard with the exclusive titles to drive sales.

That'll hopefully help drive the Nintendo Switch to gain more third party support more and more.

Did an hour on the Arms test today. It's got more depth than I thought it would have in its combat, but it's not for my tastes personally (don't really do fighters in general these days). I think the general concensus will be however, that it seems like a budget game, rather than a full priced release.

I'm somewhere in the middle. I really liked it and I could see some people viewing it as a budget game, but I also see some potential here. They've announced they'll continue to release more free content as time goes on (much like Splatoon) and the characters could cash in on that Overwatch character roster appeal.

I'm not decided on how it will be received. However, I enjoyed it for the hour I played it last night.

I think these "Test Fires" and "Test Punches" are actually more about them testing their servers than they are betas for the games. So they have everybody get on at once for an hour long session so they can see if their servers can handle the traffic.
I would still like a way to play on my schedule and not Nintendo's.
