Being that I wasn't a fan at all of these houses (loved the show), I'm going into this with very low expectations. Hopefully they do this house justice (unlike ST4 at HHN 32).

A bit disappointing that it's not a "best of", but interested to see how they handle this house. There were a few cool set pieces that I'm curious to see how they'll handle.

Chances we hear Purple Rain in here? (probably less than zero)

The house is 5 minutes long but unfortunately it's just the scene where Will melodramatically comes out. /s

I’m not expecting much from this house, given their last couple of showings.

However, I will keep an open mind because sometimes even a bad IP can be translated into a really good haunted house.

I feel like I'm in the minority actually excited for this house (though everyone I know *personally* is excited, it seems like the online sentiment is entirely negative). I love that I'll get to say goodbye to one of my favorite shows ever with a house. While not my favorite season and never my favorite house at HHN, I always enjoy them and feel like it's like walking through the show.

I feel like they're going to do a great job recreating the radio station especially. I'm a bit more skeptical about larger scenes (which is most of this season). And looking forward to how they approach showing Will with his abilities. Hoping they do it justice!

Side note: Everyone is also hating on the shirt, but aside from the "Never Go Alone" placed weird on it, I actually quite like it lol

That’s totally valid! For me, I just don’t want to be disappointed again. Stranger Things was a cultural phenomenon and I got wrapped up in it only for the final season to be an awkward mess.

And, for me, the last couple of houses just didn’t hit the way I wanted them to.

This will take some demand away from Sinners being at the front of the park, and for that, I am grateful. If I give the house anything more than a 7/10, that would be a win.

i was only going to get one piece of announcement merch and i was going to go for the shirt, but then i saw the mug

I feel this. I was part of the crowd that got in deep with the conformity gate crap ahahaha I didn't believe it until my ENTIRE fyp was conformity gate and it made the ending temporarily feel more satisfying because i thought maybe there could be more that would explain it all lol figured it would be too good to be true, but a little part of me hoped hahaha
so the house really cant disappoint me more than that anyways! it's looking up from here! lol

The only thing that excites about this house is the fact that it will draw crowds away from the other ones I'm really looking forward to (Ozzy, Jack and Sinners). I'll go through this twice as that's our rule.. but that will likely be it. For those excited - happy for you and I hope it's everything you want it to be.

I feel like the long delay had already started to push this out of the zeitgeist--Terrifier bounds were all the rage last year, Scoops Ahoy and Hellfire Club outfits much rarer--and that last season was rough. Retroactively erase any residual love I had for the show rough.

But hey, will be easier to cast, 30 y.o. scare-actors playing teen kids is suddenly on brand for the IP!

absolutely brutal to be probably locked into this before the release and the bad reception/lack of horror involved in that season. Not that these houses bring a single scare anyways. Merchandise team is absolutely lost with this release and the Sinners stuff. just out of touch. I know they can design and I know they love horror nights, but constantly just make the absolute opposite of those facts last few years.
