I've always thought the houses received a lot of undue hate, but that's just me lol

I remember so many complaints about how the 2018 house completely botched the climax of season 1

(And then the 2019 house rectified that moment)

If this is your personal #1 on your anticipated list, that's perfectly fine and valid! Don't let anyone's personal opinions affect your rank and enjoyment of the houses, we all have our differences on what we like or not.

Originals are often higher on my hype list, but ST5 is absolutely #1 out of all the IPs on my hype list. I feel you! I was a bit surprised to see only hate on the forum for it. I've seen all but the first iteration of a ST house, and I'm really excited for this one. And the merch lol
I've got a friend joining me at HHN for his first ever visit and he's thrilled! He loves Stranger Things and this is the perfect year for him to get to go. I have another friend who has been wanting to revisit HHN for a few years now and with Stranger Things coming, she's over the moon excited she's able to make it this year. I'm assuming this forum represents only a specific piece of the crowd lol

You are correct, the lab is shut down in Season 5 and they usually only get into/out of the Upside Down via the MAC-Z military base.

First house of the event for me. No real facade and a title card. First part was lots of Demos. Which felt to me they could have done more. Had a few Vecnas but not as many as I thought. To many screens for me. The Will scene was good. The military was good as well. As you exited the house purple rain did play.

My first house as well. Got in line around 1:45, maybe a 25 minute wait once it opened at 2:00. Almost all of the line is indoors and air-conditioned, which is easily the top reason I might recommend this house.

Pretty much what I anticipated, nothing out of the ordinary here.

Cast A Hopper, Wil and chubby kid were spot-on (Hopper could work look-alike conventions). The Elevens and the little sister, not so much.

Hindered by too many static scares, not enough actors. And the final confrontation, with a single screen meant to be the giant spider's face I guess, was kind of laughably bad.

If you're trying to make the case that the HHN house formula has gotten stale, this would be Exhibit A.

Hit this house early last night. Around 4:45. No one was in line and it was a walk on. The Demos we going hard. It was a good run. Much better then opening weekend. Still not great by any means but better. Still feel like to many screens.

Cast B is much more intense and in your face than Cast A. Surprisingly happy with this one, and the low waits help.
