It's possible, but I doubt anyone would walk that path for just a show. The walk from the NY backstage gate (where the Icons/Tooth Fairy entrance was located) to Sinbad is the same distance as the Hill House exit path.

As busy as Nightmare Fuel was this year, having the extra queue space might not be such a bad thing.

I feel like most people that want hhn at islands are forgetting that Disney wouldn’t allow anything in Super Hero Island, Seuss wasn’t allowed to have anything before and JK won’t do anything but a few death eaters. That’s half the park that wouldn’t have anything.

Use Poseidon’s fury, lost continent and the connection into Jurassic park. It would be a quick walk through Seuss and they can just play the music in reverse again. Plus death eaters and access to hagrids would be awesome for crowds.

Not much, but 2005 had a unofficial scarezone called “North Hollow” where weird robed figures lurked in Seuss. And Boo-ville WAS a thing.

And I don’t see people having problem with death eaters.

IoA isn't happening, and if it did, it would suck. We complain about London being empty and people were talking about the lack of Clownsaws in Simpsons being a dealbreaker at HHN30. We complain about house sizes and limitations with the largely open Warehouses at Studios. Imagine both of those problems multiplied, with no real upsides besides change of scenery.

The one thing HHN actually needs is one more thrill ride open at USF (which it doesn't have) since Mummy and RockIt are the two most popular rides. Transformers and Simpsons barely get a wait, MIB gets a decent 20-minute wait during busier nights, and Gringotts gets a little busy. If only Fast & Furious was an actual thrill ride.

Unironically, the best experience I had riding Supercharged was during HHN (which is the last time I have ever done at ride during HHN). Every guest (and employee) at the time knew the ride was bad, so the environment felt very energetic. People where so exciting to hear the word "family" and question why Dom is the size of a helicopter. If only the pacing and energy of the actual ride was the same as that very fun experience for me.

HHN is getting ridiculous with the crowds now. Why can't they just open the Red Areas to help alleviate it? Too much additional cost spent for additional resources like employees, etc..?

You have to close both parks, eliminating an option for people who don’t want to go to HHN, on top of resourcing employees and equipment to do it.

And the trek between parks is rough backstage.

More often than not, the ones who suggest a two-park HHN are ones who never went to 14 and had to make the long trek through the parks. Conversely, the ones who did experience 14 aren't really clamoring to have a two-park layout. For the amount of folks who gripe about the walk to and from the parade warehouses, the buyer's remorse would be instant for a backstage trek.

I'll also add that you're not really alleviating crowds if you're putting them into smaller pathways.

Yep. For how nifty Fright Yard was back there, people don’t think about the fact that there’s no guest infrastructure along that route. That meant there were no water fountains or restrooms. Universal’s solution was food carts (likely upgraded to food tents if done today) and port-a-potties.

It really only worked then because Universal still didn’t have the polish that is, now, it’s signature feature.

Never mind the huge logistical headaches, the guests experience of a two-park event would not fly today.

EDIT - Don’t get me wrong; 14 is my favorite year. But it’s my favorite despite being the two-park year. Field of Screams is the only factor unique to that year that makes that year important. Everything else that made that year special are either not unique to that year (soundstage houses) or cannot logistically happen again regardless of location (parade).

You’d be spreading the crowd out better though, also you can increase capacity which is useful for the time period we live in currently.

Lets be real: HHN went to IOA/two parks to goose the attendance numbers. Once you understand that and realize that's not needed anymore then you start looking back at how to make the event work better in USF.

Remember, they're building a new attraction this year with HHN IN MIND.

Just out of curiosity, would it be possible to put a house in the fast n furious queue? I feel like that area desperately needs something and maybe having the 11th house could be a nice solution to eliminating that super cramped zone in San Fran. Maybe replace the zone with a chainsaw horde? Also with FFL supposedly going to be a construction zone this year maybe put a small zone between London and MIB?

I think a house over by Fast and Furious is a possibility for the future. Definitely a few ways I have heard they can put a house location over their for sure.

HHN has had zones over in MIB's area before, but with three houses entering and exiting in the area now, it might be too much of a crowd control nightmare to put a zone near MIB. Also, in-between London and MIB is FFL.

That's fair I just assumed if they still use the mib sprung tent that they would probably keep that pathway open. I was thinking the zone would Begin at the edge of London and end right at MIB tent that way it wouldn't be to huge of a crowd

The more I hear about Nightmare Fuel in BMG, the more I think that will really help the back of the park

Also, talking about HHN14 makes my feet automatically hurt...please, never again

You can't have that and Grinch in the same theater the same year. I had heard about Grinch there before but felt comfortable leaking that bit of info because all the RIP tour guides were talking about it due to construction during HHN.

If only IOA had some theater space that wasn’t being used

I feel like Grinchmas has to be somewhere in the general vicinity of the land

Unless you're referring to using Sindbad for HHN

Either way, both seem like a headache
