So where will we enter the attraction? I thought we'd be entering from the lagoon side...

but it seems like there's an open space right next to Discovery Center

I think it's surely gone permanently.

That’s still a team member backstage gate. That’s at second level. Queue is on first level with entry left of discovery center in front of lagoon

I always use @Alicia 's early map layout. It's spot on so far and it also helps to make sense of what we're seeing.

Anyone feel these square footings along each side of the track will be to semi-enclose the track in themed Raptor cage metal, similiar to the underground launch?? Whata guys think?

A more open mesh cage version, but yes.

I'm guessing it will look similar to the new raptor encounter entrance cage?

I think so. That seems to be the transfer style for the new raptor paddocks, like when you walk through two doors to get in/out of a bird aviary at a zoo.

Also, the thing in front of the games looks to be a planter for trees and bushes, adding some shade over some of the outside seating and making up for lost vegetation. I could be wrong, but there does not appear to be any water features for it.

I think overall the land is going to be far superior than it was before this project.

Now I just hope Isla Nu Bar and some Discovery Center updates are still on the docket

I'd be shocked if we didn't see Isla Nu Bar. Discovery Center is a big maybe though.

Purely from an attractions lineup sense, it will unquestionably be superior. Even a non-hardcore-coaster person has to admit that adding a mega thrill ride (which isn't replacing a significant attraction) to the roster is a plus for the overall park.

In terms of the land's aesthetics and atmosphere, it remains to be seen. The whole vibe of the area is going to be radically different. Some/many will think that's great, others will not. I'm nervous about it (to the extent that a normal person should be nervous about anything in a theme park).

I'm all in for more electric fences. I already am loving the new Raptor Encounter.

If they add a raptor squeal sound on the first launch, which will be right across from River Adventure's entrance, it'll make up for the coaster intrusion to me to be honest.

Plus, electric fences. Man, I am so looking forward to more of those along the walkway, coaster or not.

They should've just made an electric fences walkthrough attraction just for you. Absolutely no special effects, Dino's, Raptors, just a quarter mile of fence. You'd be there everyday!

In agreement though, it does make things feel more Jurassic Park-ish, I think this Coaster will bring a lot of life to the land and I've always wanted JP to feel lively and like its alive, and this coaster I think is going to do just that.

I'd probably take the electric fences we lost and sound effects over Skull Island on that side if given the choice lol.

I'm here for the electric fences! I just, ideally, would kind of like it to look like a jungle again when looking through them. And maybe it will, but I don't see a lot of room for the kind of foliage required when looking at the aerial photographs.

Nu Bar was in the cards before COVID. It also wouldn’t take too much work to turn Watering Hole into something like that

Isla Nu Bar is just a basic counter-service outdoor bar right? I could see them bringing the menu over, but I couldn’t see any construction being done to make that bar happen

Sign replacement and new tropical drinks in those plastic Tiki Mugs is all I really want.
