I can’t remember if someone has done this since SLOP has moved to the upper lot, but has anyone placed the “new” version of SLOPs show building over Shrek?
The old, larger version fit in the land mass & adjacent empty area occupied by the Shrek building, so this new version, which is a smaller building, should fit.I can’t remember if someone has done this since SLOP has moved to the upper lot, but has anyone placed the “new” version of SLOPs show building over Shrek?
Now THERE'S an idea. Hire this man. They should give you a behind the scenes of how they made Alfred Hitchcock movies
It doesn't count since I didn't mention BTTF."Let the past die."
:deadhorse:I like the sound of SOLP replacing Shrek! However, shouldn't Universal be working on replacing Fast and Furious already?

I’d say improving and not replacing. It’s not going to leave, but they may close it for a short bit to improve what they have based on guest feedback.I like the sound of SOLP replacing Shrek! However, shouldn't Universal be working on replacing Fast and Furious already?

Sure you get a pass, and welcome to the forum.Do I get a pass since I'm new here? Plus, I preferred Disaster much more!
Yes, because it’s already been designed.Sorry if this question has been asked and answered a million times before.
Is there enough room for a SLOP replacement?
So, it was designed to also fit the Shrek building? Wording here leaves a little bit of room for interpretation here haha. Im very curious if this has any real chance at replacing Shrek. If we aren't getting a major replacement for kid zone soon then this is the ride Universal Studios Florida NEEDS at the moment.Yes, because it’s already been designed.
A version was designed to fit the Shrek plot. A lot of variables have gone into why it hasn’t happened yet. If it gets a cool reception in Hollywood, then Orlando won’t pull the trigger on it.So, it was designed to also fit the Shrek building? Well, here’s to hoping this does gangbusters in Hollywood this spring!! Hoping for the best for this ride out there.A version was designed to fit the Shrek plot. If you told me in 2008 that Universal was going to buy new property and open a new resort before Shrek was replaced I would have laughed in your faceA version was designed to fit the Shrek plot. Outside of Kid Zone I can’t think of anything else. It’s just a badly aging theater show with a movie that was old when it started.I still don't understand the hatred for Shrek. There are other things that should be replaced first.
Only other than I can think of before Kidzone is Fear Factor but I know they use that space during HHN, so they may not feel the need to take it down until something major replaces that area. Hoping we get SLOP here for 2024Outside of Kid Zone I can’t think of anything else. It’s just a badly aging theater show with a movie that was old when it started.
