I think May West. The costume is of the 1880s or 90's wild west.

They've had non-celebrity type characters before in Hollywood. I've taken pictures with producers and policemen before too.

That's what I thought, but she said no (although she admitted Mae West wore that dress). Told me she was "Lana" or "Laura" something. Name didn't ring any bells for me, but she was sweet.

Could be...
It is believed (incorrectly, but why does that matter) that Lana Turner was discovered at Schwabs Pharmacy.

On the other hand, Lana was a bleach blond, was never in a noted film wearing that type of costume. So, maybe they were just going for a 1950's bit player walking the backlot of the studios... starting to sound merely generic. And that is cool too.

Oh please let this mean that Universal is bringing back some of the legacy of characters that they had the rights to use and used to. Such as The Marx Brothers, Charlie Chaplin, Laurel and Hardee, W.C. Fields and such.

After the successes of Hugo and The Artist, it would be very cool for Universal to revisit this. I believe with a little work, it could be monetized beyond just a M&G.

A friend of mine was one of the managers for the GBs show on the steps of the NY Library. Seems a thousand years ago now. Ecto was out of the show for the longest time because someone smashed it up backstage or something like that. They ran it into something. Too, there was a huge group of tween AP holders that showed up after school for their afternoon performance daily. It was kinda creepy.

Isn't this true of most theme park shows? Seen the same thing at Beetlejuice...

Unfortunately, I am guilty of this. There's one particular actor who portrays Dracula that I favor over the rest of the cast. I truly believe he thinks I stalk him. But I never over-do it like some do; then again, I'm older, and know better...
