Do we have confirmation Project 680 is the pad between Nintendo and Darkmoor?

Well according to @Alicia latest video…permits that were assigned to IOA for the Zelda project were all in the 670 range.

So it’s not far fetched that 680 is related to those older ones.

It’s all speculation but it’s a high chance this is a case of IP’s being swapped between the parks.

After whatever this Potter attraction is.

I honestly believe Legend of Zelda will be its own portal down the line, and the SNW plot will be a Luigi’s Mansion trackless dark ride attraction.

Have also heard rumblings of like a Mack Rocking Boat style attraction for Creature of the Black Lagoon in Dark Universe


I might be stating the obvious at this point. But who knows….

There’s a few other things I’d like to see done here at Epic, but those rn are just predictions without any notoriety whatsoever

If Zelda does come to Epic, it would probably make the most sense to put it next to the rest of SNW. There is room for its own portal on the opposite side of the Celestial Park Nintendo Store.

That’s what I was thinking.

I think a great flagship attraction for a portal like that could be a ride similar to Arthur over at Europa Park (half dark ride/half coaster)

I did also wanna see like a Donkey Kong log flume ride over in Donkey Kong Country at some point, but if it needs the space for LoZ, I’d scrap it in a heartbeat

I think Luigi's Mansion was always going to be an uphill battle when they chose to incorporate the ghost house environment/Boos into Mario Kart. Granted, Forbidden Journey presented a similar problem for Potter expansion: They assumed they only had one shot at a Potter dark ride, so they covered a lot of ground that they'd inevitably explore again (dragons, Forbidden Forest, dementors).

I do think a Luigi's Mansion ride would rule, but unfortunately, the ideal ride system for it was... probably what they used for Mario Kart, with the AR goggles. Imagine if you could only "see" the ghosts in AR...

While I wouldn't mind a Luigi's Mansion darkride, I do recall the only rumors swirling around that was using VillainCon's tech...not 100% sure if folks would be down for that.

What Alicia said, the permit that was briefly up didn't list anything where we could pinpoint where in the park this project is going.

Right, but I get his point — diversifying the Nintendo offerings makes a lot of sense if they’re not going to spread Nintendo around the three Orlando parks.

I think you're right, but I also can't imagine them not wanting to eventually put Nintendo into the other parks, or at least in one of them. Luigi's Mansion would probably be a net positive for them if they ever wanted to replace Men in Black.

But, there's always the eventual 4th park.. lol

To me, having Luigi’s Mansion at another park just didn’t make sense to me cause you already have Super Nintendo World at Epic with all the Mario characters. Wouldn’t it just be easier to do Luigi’s Mansion there?


You could easily do both LM and have a Zelda expansion for a new portal

With 3 (dry) parks now, I don't think Uni needs to force IPs into all 3 parks. You really only need them at 2 parks, and that should convince them to easily upgrade to a 3-park pass or add a day to see that "other" park.
