Nine days until Mardi Gras vacation. Can't wait.....Universal does Mardi Gras really well.....Great fun like New Orleans, without the smell of rotting garbage :lmao: Only one major fun thing missing....but it is a family resort after all.

Mardi Gras is, by far, the worst time to visit New Orleans. Think of the people you know that would excitedly tell you they're going to New Orleans specifically for Mardi Gras. Now imagine a relatively small city filled to the brim with people like that. Welcome to hell.

Oh yes. But I've been there other times too. Unfortunately the rotting garbage scent is ingrained in Bourbon Street. It's part of the 'ambiance' :lmao: Most especially in the early morning at sunrise.
