They had auditions for the DeathEaters in MARCH! Now if only we'd get blessed by a 2025 audition notice

Speaking of which. Last year's HHN auditions were in May. So that means we're roughly 2.5 months away from activating "monster mode"

It was. Death Eaters for Horror Nights have always been handled a bit strangely, casting wise. Not sure it's been the same process across any two years.

The Death Eaters were a fun sideshow at HHN. I hope they come back or at least have a horde of M3gans taking out the Potter Crew (JK would not be amused) <lol just kidding>.

I hope they do something with SS12 again this year, the road crossing was a bit annoying, but I loved being on the (un)hallowed ground where they shot some of the classics.

Hopefully we'll get a new HN Nightmares spec map soon to start frothing about.

Wouldn't he of specified if the mask purchases would've been for Vegas instead of LA?

This also isn't the first time this has happened recently, where Grim Stitch let slip of them doing masks for Universal again. The assumption, be on TPS or on HHN365's Discords; was that this could of been for Vegas, because of how non-specific it was. We also know that via Murdy's comments I believe--that creatively he is not involved with Horror Unleashed in Vegas.

The fact this time is more explicit, makes me think unless if Hollywood is holding the costumes and masks for Vegas; that this is going to be for the HHN Hollywood event this year.

Which--if it is, then this is one of the dumber NDA-violations we've seen in a bit.

Your attempt at snark is amusing, but the GP do that exact thing on a regular basis. Most of the "fans" that go to HHN can't differentiate Hollywood from Orlando, especially on Twitter, specifically Murdy’s posts.

Then of course you have the ones that don't even know what they've already been through while at the event. But that's a different level of stupid entirely.

Point is, the mix-up is entirely possible.

I have no idea what — if anything — this YouTube clip indicates, but I do think folks need to move past this idea that Horror Unleashed somehow precludes anything from being at Hollywood HHN.

There is logic behind "Vegas is close to L.A., so they can't have the same houses, because they'll cannibalize each other." But that same logic would also suggest that everyone going to Vegas is somehow also going to Hollywood HHN, or vice versa, and that's absolutely not the case.

Vegas gets people from all over the world, and they're primarily coming for gambling, resort/luxury experiences, restaurants, and unique entertainment, which is where HU comes in. Universal can't (and won't) assume that Vegas tourists will somehow pass on visiting HU just because there are similar houses at Hollywood HHN.

It'd be like the In-N-Out in Vegas not doing Animal Style because they'd be worried it would disincentive people going to the L.A. locations.

I really do have to admire the tight lips on this year’s lineup. I think there has only been like one consistent IP I’ve heard as a contender for legitimacy while everything else has been a flush after a week of being “the hot rumor”, and even then that likely IP has died out as a possibility.

I wouldn't be surprised if Universal has an evolving strategy to stop leaks, and maybe they've succeeded to a greater degree this year.

My own spec: the Universal Monsters in Vegas seems like a generic all monsters house, so it wouldn't surprise me if Hollywood does another Monsters house focused on an aspect of the Universal Monster universe (sounds epic). There is a Bride (of Frankenstein) movie with Christian Bale coming this year, but that's Warner Bros and a musical lol.

M3gan is too popular to not be at the event (and the sequel is coming), the Grabber is a chance (another sequel), Five Nights at Freddie's seems a chance (another sequel, coming after HHN though) - I think over the last couple of years especially, Hollywood has become really adept with animatronics (cases in point - Chucky and Quiet Place houses), so it might be the time to have a go at the Fazbear crew. Terrifier seems a rough chance after the success of part 3, but we'll see (not a fan myself).

Just my uninformed speculation, we'll see what happens. Hopefully they announce something before the event starts lol <sarcasm alert>.

I think the only legit spec for Hollywood at this point is...

• 8 houses + Terror Tram
• 4 SZs + DeathEaters (hopefully)
• 2 shows
• SS12 used again
• Parisian, Plaza, French St triple combo
• DreamWorks used again
• Themed bars at Lemmale & Jurassic again

Probably forgetting something else
