That empty parking lot is for everyone using the soundstages. IE - when filming is taking place, that’s where those film crews park. Permanently removing that space decreases the overall usefulness of the soundstages themselves and, because that area is not actually owned by the parks but rather production, you’re probably not getting it.

If they didn’t, the parks side would likely already have it.

Speaking as someone who's worked in and alongside production: adjacent parking is a huge selling point.
