It might still happen but no, it's not confirmed. @highdefrex was making a joke.

I was just commenting on that joke. That last of us part 2 is actually more likely to happen than silent hill.

Honestly, I have a feeling that we won't see any Universal Monsters maze next year. The only one I can see possibly happening is the new 'Nosferatu' film but even then, who knows. It's pretty clear that Uni does not want to put anymore money into the Monster mazes and they're getting less and less 'scraps' every year. With this last maze performing terribly with most guests, I think it's time for them to put the Monsters away for a while.

and Orlando is opening the monster area in the new park, I don't know if they want so much monster stuff around. I know it's different coasts, but they might just take a break on monster stuff just because the new Orlando stuff will be in promotions for vacations. since both coasts share the monster houses, I wonder what happens if Orlando skips it

The idea that people are quicker to believe HHN will have an A24 house before another UCM house tells me this is gonna be a weeeeeeeeeeird spec season.

Interesting to point out but encase if there may be doubts on TT's lasting power; it has directly been referenced as a proper Q&A point for the episode of Ride Guys.

Bored and never said my spec for next year, very late but better late than never lmao

UBE: THE HORRORS OF BLUMHOUSE (M3GAN (1+2) & THE BLACK PHONE)
Blumhouse is a staple and there is no way we won't see their 2 new films, Black Phone 2 and M3gan 2 at the event. Fnaf is right there but it seems impossible rn so this is the next "best" bet. Everyone is saying a solo M3gan house but I'm bagging more of them into mashing both together for maximum use in the merch lol
PARISIAN: MONSTRUOS TRES
You did Uno, then Dos, and now Tres, complete the Trilogy, it seems obvious. Which Monstruos? At least one from El Pueblo del Terror, a new one, and MAYYYBEE La Llorona just from popularity alone. one of them has to be the final big bad and she fits that bill.
H-LOT 1: FRIDAY THE 13th or NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET
With all this talk of Nightmare and Friday, I feel like maybe one of them will return, which I don't know. Lean more towards Friday with his "Jasonverse" thing happening right now, they would likely go for that but Kruger would be cool to see too. Someone got to fill the Slasher role and the neighbor next tent does too but they'd also fit the classic slot as well
H-LOT 2: TERRIFIER
The least likely IMO but it'd be cool considering how popular Art has gotten. H-Lot seems like the prime placement for him to go
SS12: UNIVERSAL MONSTERS: CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON
Shot in the dark but I feel like Murdy would WANT to do one more Universal Monsters House, with full control of his own story, and not go out with one that wasn't too well received by the fans. Yes, Unleashed and Dark Universe are gonna be open as well but I feel like Hollywood is devoid enough from those 2 projects that are mainly from the Orlando team to be able to do another house. This would be Hollywood-exclusive and to get people riled up (good and bad lol) who better than to finally do Creature if this is Murdy's last chance to do a Universal Monsters house?
SS15: BEETLEJUICE (1 or 2)
Redemption for not being able to do it back in 2021, maybe, he's back in business (not TCM style) right now so I think we might finally see him on this coast. If not I have no clue who is big enough to warrant the "Headliner spot"
Whatever Mummy's replacement will be: THE LAST OF US: PART 2
The most likely after the past week but I am more interested in where it'd go. So far the repeated big headliners always seem to return to their original locations, Stranger Things, Weeknd, AHS, and TWD for a while, so TLOU I'd think Mummy but with all that construction and demolishment, it might be over for Mummy Venue (Rip 2007 - 2024). So that begs where would it go? So far my only thought is SS22 across from it but if a new location (or god forbid Metro) opens up, there it would go.
T-PAD: CHRISTMAS ORIGINAL
Idk why just seems like it'd be fun, if not Scary Tales for Wicked side money lol
TERROR TRAM: SLAUGHTER SINEMA
Brought up by a @chaotic_Neutral on Discord but if they wanted to continue porting over ideas from Orlando, this could be one of them. Terror Tram has done this concept here before with Dreadtime Stories, Horror Comes Home, Scream4, and even Enter the Blumhouse fits that mold, just do it again with some of the ideas for Slaughters catalog, heck they can finally use those Yeti costumes they wear every Terror Tram finale lol

My thoughts but most is probably wishful thinking, lets see what comes to fruition

Could finally be time for Chupacabra in Monstruos, with Mictlantecuhtli and the Aztec mummies rounding it out.

It sounds like they're giving the monsters in general a break.

The Bride is one of the most iconic horror movie monsters ever. I'm sure she'll show up again at some point.

I wouldn't be surprised if UM was a Hollywood exclusive next year. It would be cool to see another HW exclusive Universal Monsters house like Frankenstein Meets The Wolf Man from 2019.

I’d say it’s the opposite considering its proximity to Vegas.

Orlando might not have Monsters.. but do we all think Murdy isn't gonna be stubborn about trying to wrangle through a Monsters house as a Hollywood-exclusive IP? We all know how much he loves the Monsters IP and how he'll fight for certain things, especially if he can sell it as exclusive to Hollywood's HHN..

I am going to agree with @Brian G.

With the proximity towards that of Vegas, and by extension that of UDX's large push for permament horror-based installations for 2025 that has UM as a central part of it (Even if it is on the other side of the country, Dark Universe is massive); the less of a risk of cannibalization the better that then can be made for the sake of Horror Unleashed and Dark Universe's audiences.

Doesn't mean Slash won't be at the event, it'd make sense that would continue with say, a original house with music by him again (it has been over 10 years since Klowns3D); but giving UM a rest makes a lot of sense in context of what UDX is cooking on the larger scope.

Unless I've missed something, there's currently no reason to think there won't be a UCM house on both coasts. Dark Universe is a separate thing, and IMO, including UCM in Vegas is a sign that the company is doubling down on these characters, not the opposite.

The IP wars have never been more intense. Universal is not going to pull the plug on one of their most lucrative horror properties just because of Horror Unleashed and Epic Universe. Again, they're clearly doing the exact opposite by featuring the IP in more places.
