Boom! I’ve finally got it right!

My only question is, will the TV show even be up to Part II by that point? Disclaimer: I have never watched the show but I have played the games, even got the platinum trophy on the second one. I only ask because I would hate for people who haven't played part II to be like, "WTF is going on?!" Because I think the first season of the of the show only made it to about halfway through the first game? Give or take a little less.

Season 2 starts this coming spring. It'll adapt at least half of the game.

Just a thought, having just watched the movie for the first time, could we see Thanksgiving? Very solid bloody slasher that has a sequel on the way for next year, and owned by Sony so you already have the corporate trust there.

It was theatrically released by Sony but it's a Spyglass production. So not likely.

If Last of Us part II comes. I hope they show little to no story beats. Just make a scenically scary house lol. I have played part 2 and I wasn't a fan at all of the direction they took for it. (story wise) But, I am hoping universal can do what they did with insidious. Part II has some of the most cinematic sets I have ever seen in a video game. And a lot more variety of infected, and human threats. just make it terrifying, show us the rat king and the Scars (if thats what they were called lol) If done right, this house could 100% be better than the first rendition of last of us. Still rooting for silent hill XD

With TLOU rumored to come back as the video game IP for next year, I think the ship has now sailed for Silent Hill. Maybe it will for later, but not now.

If the facade is the music store, and the first scene is just Ellie plaintively playing “Take On Me” for Dina, I’d call that a massive win.

I wonder if they take the opportunity and for the sake of the game, they have variants of the facade like how Weeknd: NT in Hollywood had the Multiple Abels infront of the facade.

Been there, done that. Story wise TLOU2 sucks, BUT, it is a visually stunning game. It would make for a gorgeous house.

Admittedly, it's still very early in the spec, so obviously, take it with a "grain of salt".... But if TLOU 2 is indeed on the docket, I think the first house being set in Pittsburgh allows them to avoid any "been there, done that" if they choose to do multiple locations or do a "best of" house.

EDIT: I'm merely adding to the Spec Talk since it was brought up, not throwing my name in the ring for this year's rumor game just yet.

I have no horse in the race but one my favorite thing about Halloween Horror Nights, and being on forums discussing it, is hearing about things people love being brought to life

Even if you HATE TLOU 2 because you didn't like the direction of the story, you should at minimum be excited for a game adaption and hope it's well executed. The better it's reception, the higher the chance you'll get Silent Hill, Resident Evil, etc in the future.

I really don't get how what you're saying correlates to what I said but alright. TLoU 2 is a much different game than the first and a house adaption of it wouldn't be a carbon copy of the 2023 house. If it 100% happens I'm sure the house will be amazing.
