I dunno... Horror version of a Thanksgiving Day parade appeals to me.

Depends on what they're going for imo. Inflatables in something like Sweet Revenge wouldn't have felt out of place at all.

I've been hoping for an update to the main entrance archs for awhile, think they've been using the same thing since 2014.

I would actually like to see them use the location by Transformers again, perhaps to tie into the food booth in Sting Alley.

I think they stopped using that because of the lagoon show

I partially agree with this, I think USF needs general classic Halloween decor throughout no matter what the event's theme is each year.

I say keep the Central Park, New York and Hollywood scare zones, but decorate the rest of the park with more traditional Halloween decor. Go all out in 3 zones & possibly expand the NY zone into some of the side streets. With the lack of house portals at Kidzone, the Central Park zone tended to be enjoyable at times compared to previous years. I still think they can work with this zone.

Considering that there's really only been 2-3 HHN-worthy zones each year, it won't feel like a decline in experience.

I agree with all of this, though I’d suggest moving the CP zone into Kidzone.

but empty streets and less scarezones is very sad too. if the choice was empty streets or horror inflatable, it would be better to have something.
( or maybe a different kind of decorations, something besides lighting, inflatables just seem like the most practical)

If the inflatables actually play into the story that's totally different lol

I don't just want to see generic inflatables in a zone like at Six Flags

I trust that the A&D team can come up with something a bit better.

I am late to the party and didn’t even know we had started speculation for this year. I do think a lot of people are on the money about Blumhouse with Megan and Black Phone; like, that’s definitely for sure happening. I could see Creature of the Black Lagoon happening finally, and I do think that The Weeknd could come back to Orlando. He has a new album coming, and he has had houses in Singapore and Hollywood over the last couple of years. Terrifier is on Peacock, and they do seem open to it, but I just can’t see it happening (I am going to eat my words, aren’t I?). And last but not least, I do think Boris will be a part of this year's event. It seemed like they were teasing him, but they could have just been paying homage. Overall, after this year, I think they are going to step up their game.

Yes. Fright Nights had numerous musical performances, and you had Rocky Horror.

made me wonder if you added live singing to nightmare fuel it would make it more exciting.
not the dancers but adding a storyteller that sang all the songs ( even as covers of real songs)

I don't think Nightmare Fuel is suffering from drawing a crowd...

I'm actually really surprised that no one has brought up From so far this year (and unless my search for such a generic term was a complete failure, I don't think it's even been discussed in past years). There's plenty of good material in the show for a house, including terrifying humanoid creatures and full dismemberment of adults and children, and it should be mostly unencumbered by rights issues since it's Amazon/MGM. It's also been renewed again after season 3, so the promotion would be current. Given that The Weeknd, Us and A Quiet Place got houses, I don't see this as being an insurmountable design challenge either. It's a relatively small IP, but I think it would be great cross promotion for the show.

And if you are unaware of this show, you owe it to yourself as a horror fan to go watch it. It's surprisingly good and really underrated. I would describe it as a modernized horror-adjacent Lost.
