I believe it's an entry portal for one of the themed lands at Epic Universe. What is that for ?
Portal into one of the lands, possibly. My guess is Wizarding World. What is that for ?
Oh it looked really strange to me for some reason.Portal into one of the lands, possibly. My guess is Wizarding World.
I was just thinking that, and my guess is inside one of the big warehouses on property since the thought was they were built first for the purpose of set/scenic construction. If that is the case I'm not sure how "legal" this picture is since it's a backstage/off limits area.Question is where is it being constructed?
I believe this photo was taken at a fabrication company off site.Question is where is it being constructed?
It looks better suited as the entrance for Starfall Racers.Portal into one of the lands, possibly. My guess is Wizarding World.
Every one of the portals will have a themed front shell similar to this, including Starfall Racers, and including the park’s entry arch. The colors and markings may be slightly different, but these metallic arches will be installed in front of each portal, to give consistency across the park.It looks better suited as the entrance for Starfall Racers.
I Honeslty love the portal idea. It’s something very unique to this park and I do beleive they will do a lot more to add to the immersion of this park and it’s overall vibe. It’s like a unique way to transport us while still feeling connected to the hub. I can really start to envision this all.Every one of the portals will have a themed front shell similar to this, including Starfall Racers, and including the park’s entry arch. Given how wildly different each of the actual portal structures will be, having the front arch element remain somewhat consistent will help connect the portal-to-another-world motif across the park.
Not sure I’m loving that, especially for an area like Nintendo where the main entrance appeal is going right into one of those pipes from the game, not entering a portal into a pipe. How is this going to work for something like Monsters where there’s already a big themed structure with rockwork and everything? Is there just going to be a sci fi portal connected to the front of that?Every one of the portals will have a themed front shell similar to this, including Starfall Racers, and including the park’s entry arch. See that’s what I’m confused about because I thought these portals were being built from the ground up not having pre installed pieces manufactured off site. Not sure I’m loving that, especially for an area like Nintendo where the main entrance appeal is going right into one of those pipes from the game, not entering a portal into a pipe. Let me guess, it'll be for sale as a souvenir for $44.99 and interact with the app or something? What’s seen in this photo is merely a plate cover for the opening on the front of the portal. It’s a decorative element attached to each entrance. The portal structure itself is wildly themed to each property. This is the part that holds the magic for traveling across the universe.
Edit: I secretly gave it away in a transitional fade in a video last year even.
