WWE has issued a press advisory in the Orlando area that a major announcement will be coming this week. I believe the announcement will be the official details on WWE developmental moving to that market with a full fledged training center.

The press conference lists Florida Governor Rick Scott, Orange County mayor Teresa Jacobs, Triple H, and Full Sail University president Garry Jones as appearing.

The announcement is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Thursday at 5505 Forsyth Commons Road, in an industrial park between East Colonial Drive and State Road 408. That is across from Full Sail University's main campus.

Stephanie McMahon noted during the company's Business Summit with their partners over Wrestlemania weekend that their training center would be launched shortly.

Potential WWE signings who had tryouts several months back in Tampa were advised they likely would not receive offers until the next location in Orlando was ready to go as well.

So, all signs point to the official unveiling of WWE developmental leaving Tampa for the greater Orlando area.

If that's all that it is I wouldn't consider that a "major" announcement. Too early for them to announce a Wrestlemania 2 years from now. They could always announce SummerSlam but that seems to be staying in L.A. now. I guess it does have something to do with the training center then.

Their presence in Orlando - partnerships with NBC and Universal may lead to something more. Orlando is looking to host wrestlemania so they may time something appropriately.

This has been listed on the wrestling observer "According to The Wrestling Observer, it appears as if a physical WWE Hall of Fame will indeed be built in Orlando, FL, the former home of Impact Wrestling. Early word is that the NBA City Table Service, located in Universal Studios, will be shutting down and likely remodeled into the WWE Hall of Fame".

As fair warning "early word" could be someone reading it on this site.

If true, would be bittersweet since NBA City is my favorite restaurant in Universal. But being a wrestling fanatic my whole life I can't help but be excited and look forward to going.
