I agree with you Dylan. The performers seem mostly very young and not as experienced as in the past. Oh sure, they can ride the skis and take falls but their "performance" is lacking. Dolph is still great and the newer guy (Nathan?) is good but most of the Helen's seem to be just going through the motions. I hear that the show will go down for 6 to 8 weeks in January for a full referb.

Apparently someone decided to jump the fence during a performance of Water World and swim to the center island. *sigh* People are crazy..!!!

Probably not the first time this has happened, and most likely won't be the last.

I'm surprised it took so long for someone hit the e-stop on the show. I would have thought there were several e-stop buttons around the arena for hosts to press incase of an incident just like this.

The guy is lucky that he didn't jump into the area that the seaplane lands at the wrong time.

@Ryan120420 Makes me wonder what was he trying to do.

I'm still pretty surprised how the Mariner went in and stopped him...I'm also guessing he got kicked out of the park without a refund.

What's insane is that he did that RIGHT before the Sea Plane! If he had waited any longer, that would've been bad.

I was kinda biting my nails before the e-stop. Like, "oh man it's coming, it's coming!"

As for the video: when you offer booze in the park, stuff like this is gonna happen. Like my fellow Ryan said up above, this probably isn't the first time and it's not the last. Just the first to have been caught on video. Gotta love the pure added hilarity of him actually aiming the faux gun at the cast. Can you say "trespassed for life"?

There are about 3 people that have to keep a finger on a button for large effects like the sea plane to happen. if even one of them lifts their finger, it just doesn't go off. I'm assuming that with how fast the employee was on his radio, at least one of the stage managers was already on top of it. I'm surprised how long it took for the audio to cut off though

Turns out he was a "challenged" individual who thought he was "helping" the Deacon. From what I heard after he was escorted backstage he asked if he could meet the cast. After asking around it seem this is the first time it's happened during a show. There have been a couple of times when someone has jumped in after the show. What a crazy thing.

Okay guys, if the jumper was indeed mentally challenged that changes things a bit. Some people can't process what's real and what's not as well as what isn't or is acceptable behavior.

Please be respectful towards the issue. Thank you.

Why are you surprised?... He's THE MARINER!  He's my hero! :p

Okay, I take offense to comments like these. Don't lump alcohol with stupidity. People don't need alcohol to do stuff like that. Serving alcohol in a theme park is not a bad or negative thing. Many parks do it & have done it for years, even if its just beer. It is possible for people to enjoy alcoholic beverages without doing stupid things. <_<

Well... it certainly helps while there are people who can hold their liquor in as well. That's a circular fallacy argument. I'm definitely not going to get in the whole "alcoholism is a disease" debate here if that's the intent.

It's nothing against anything anybody said here, it's just that we have more alleged backstory now on what happened. With that in mind, let's all move on and respect the issue as is.
