This isn't a Disney ride Scott. If you are propelled uphill, then the force will be magnetic and not water jets.

I am starting to think this might be the two slides that burned in the field next to W&W. A ton of pieces missing from the scene.

not gonna lie I'm really disappointed in the back of the volcano, but i know that's already been hashed out
it just seems like it'll look so fake and unimpressive now

So from breifly scanning twitter this morning it sounds like Florida is in for a storm, sounds like they are also tearing down the tower cranes for saftey from the following tweet:

Looks like the yellow tower crane that was right next to the volcano (appeared in MickeyXtreme's aerials a couple day ago) appears to be missing from this latest photo:

I see from bioreconstruct they are tarping up a load of things too, hopefully the storm won't affect anything other than cause a small delay.

Matthew, if you're feeling destructive in Orlando please don't touch Volcano Bay or Avatar.

You can have F&F instead.

Do think they'll scrap F&F is the storm completely destroys the construction? I can only hope.

No, it's why you buy insurance to cover projects being constructed. Instead, they'll start over and make cuts. Oh wait, that is a different company's tactic.

Probably. Simply because if this storm destroys a hollow I beam structure with very little to catch wind, pretty much the rest of the park and surrounding community will be destroyed as well.

Great photos. That shot of the Volcano with the flag waving should be a classic photo that is shown as long as the park exists. Kudos to awhen for photos beyond the call of duty. . :thumbsup:Stay safe too.

I wonder why the detailing cement is so much darker than the shotcrete?

Well one it is wet, so I assume it may look a little dark anyway and two, I think the dark colour is more in line with the most common volcanic rock Basalt rather than volcanic ash as that would be light grey. Basalt is generally a very dark colour especially when lava has recently cooled from and eruption.

Ehh... black rock is not the way the concept art looks. It is curious.
