Do I understand correctly, that the pool is elevated and slides will go through it a la Dolphin Plunge?

Agreed. Pretty much everything they mentioned is there...maybe not in the most detailed sense, but they're there.

I really wonder if the water coaster is the unannounced feature attraction.
I know they mentioned the saucer slide, but I'm not sure if that's an uphill water coaster version.

I have zero interest in water parks, but the construction photos and official art look impressive, so I’m happy for those who enjoy that sort of thing. It can only be a good thing for the resort, even if it’s an offering in which I won't be partaking.

Well, lot's to talk about now. Lot's of info released and it's sounding & looking tremendous. It's going to be hard to get rooms at Cabana Bay and Sapphire Falls resorts once this monster opens. I'll definitely be spending many a day of my vacation relaxing & having fun at VB. And I'm not a young kid.....As that great Mexican philosopher, the Frito Bandido, is apt to say, "We don't need no 'stinkin' Fast & Furious ride in 2017. We've got the 'flamin Volcano'. "

So, so, so happy that there is a faster lazy river as well as the slower one. Roa's Rapids is the one thing that I love at Aquatica that the Disney water parks haven't matched to date.

This place is gonna be freakin awesome, isn't it?!!

I really hope that water coaster has small show scenes. Yes, I said that. Look up "Voyage to the Center of the Earth" at Colorado's Water World park.

If they do something like THAT, I'll start coming around to the "water theme park" moniker.
