Dark ride being Shanghai Pirates, big yes from me. Can include screens and AA and fight scenes, plus a boat ride at MK feels right.

Coaster for lack of better phrasing, should be Everest thru the land that includes upside down.

Let’s also add a small Omnimover type ride.

Rise of the Resistance was a mistake...I say partly that in jest of course. But only partly since not everything needs that kind of build-up, and when you botch that kind of setup, you get Cosmic Rewind's preshow.

When it comes to WDI having to beef up the two attractions and such, I'm a little torn. On one hand, I'm all for them potentially giving us a better coaster and dark ride. But on the other, there's always a chance they could trip over themselves in one way or another like they did with Galaxy's Edge. I really hope they learned from their mistakes on that since I don't think they can afford to make them again with this land.

Galaxy’s Edge is ruined because it’s only the Disney characters which are all 2015 - present. Disney Villains are nearly a century years old, as long as they don’t only focus on villains from the 2020’s we’re fine.

Definitely weird and transitional, but with most of these additions, I'm very excited to see the end result. I'll take a bit of a weird temporary lull leading into so many potentially really exciting developments and additions, compared to more 2023 / 2024-style coasting by.

For myself personally, once we see stuff like TropAm, Piston Peak, Villainsland, Monstropolis, refreshed Animation Courtyard, RNRC, Soarin', Buzz, BTMR, CoP, etc etc., on top of all the already completed EPCOT and New Frontierland work, I feel like that is enough for me to feel like WDW is finally where it should be, had they not taken that slow holding period in the 2000s.

So much of the resort feels refreshed, built for modern Disney crowds and expectations. And it only makes me potentially more excited for what they decide to do after this phase. I'm excited for the less obvious wave of expansions and renovations to these parks that will be opened up now that the obvious crop of dated Dinolands, Ellen's, and Aerosmiths have been tapped into.

Change will never make everyone happy but the next 10-12 years at Disney World is going to be big.

No doubt. But their overt cult like dedication/devotion/dressing to Disney minutiae is often quite amusing/entertaining.....I don't think Universal has that kind of cult following, though they probably wish they did. Big merchandise sales market.
