It's still there as of last week. It's just because the tire is spinning it never stops in the same place twice so sometimes it's hard to see it.

Orlando Informer has posted a pretty cool article called THE BIG 5: Top five “Hidden Mickeys” at Universal Orlando.

^ duh me. Rather than read that as a metaphor, I took it literally and was killing myself trying to find the actual hidden mickeys in those pictures.

I actually had a very long explanation at the top of that article which explained what a "hidden mickey" was at Disney World and how it's come to mean more of a subtle inclusion in an attraction/area and not just the standard three circle mickey head. Then I just deleted it all because it was so boring and figured people would just figure it out by the end.

Same here. In the first one I tried to make myself see a Mickey in the way the cans were situated

I've always thought it would be really cool if they made a few select suites that opened up into Port of Entry, only accessible from outside of Islands of Adventure, but with a window...probably a double sided mirror type of thing to keep people from seeing too much, or maybe an electronically locked balcony or something...facing into Port of Entry. I realize it would be pretty impractical and highly unlikely, but if Disney can do it with the Cinderella Suite Universal could as well.

Oh man, that is probably the one and only reason that I'll ever like Twister. So, so funny.

I didn't think I was going crazy. To me that isn't like the anti-Disney commercials. Just a friendly little jab, done in good fun.

I used to strongly hate twister, its not relevant at all and ghostbusters is still huge. the video game came out in 2009 and there are still talks of a third movie that could (and i think will) happen.

but with a wait always 10 minutes and It gives you physical effects, i've began to like it ALOT more than i used to. Its nice to still have a fireball blowing up in my face on Disaster & Twister since i dont have Jaws to do that.

I'm fine with looking at a screen for DM and T2 but Shrek and Simpsons (as much as i love the franchise) needs to go.

Eh, yeah. But I can't help but be irked by its placement. I understand that Ghost Busters was there first, but it's still very, very awkward to be walking through the streets of New York, and then all of a sudden.. Boom; Oklahoma. I'd love to see Uni bring something there that is actually relevant again.

Simpsons... I agree it needs to be replaced, but I don't see it happening yet, as it sells great merch. I always manage to see a character plush in a child's hands, or a long line for photos with the characters. They are still very popular, and still very relevant.

Shrek... you know what I think about Shrek.

But anywho, back to topic!

There is absolutely no reason to replace Simpsons. The ride itself is fun and the Simpsons franchise is one of the most relevant of all the franchises in the park. I understand that most people on here loved BTTF but there is no reason to replace Simpsons solely because it replaced one of your favorite rides.

This isn't really a secret. But this is from the Goddard Group Facebook:

With this week's release of THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, we thought it'd be fun to take a look back of the development of the "world's greatest ride". Here in these early storyboard illustrations by Neal Adams (circa 1994), the ride's sewer sequence played out quite differently, with THE LIZARD terrifying riders instead of Hydro-Man.

This. Hydro-Man definitely isn't as menacing as Lizard is. Plus, that water effect really bugs me.

That little sprinkle of water is really annoying to me… I would've LOVED the lizard (but maybe that's because I love Rhys Ifans…). Either way, I don't find the Hydro-Man sequence as entertaining as the rest. He's just not as scary of a villain I guess...
