Does anyone know if there has been further work done on what was expected to be the main permanent fireworks launch point since shortly after the 4th of July? Still kind of surprised that they didn’t have it at least ready for final equipment installation by park open or the 4th if that was always it’s intended purpose from the start.

One real positive observation: The 10:00 PM Celestial Fountain show was excellent. Lives up to the word 'Epic'. It's
also cool that they run smaller shows during the day. And nice to have seating available.

Right? It's a really quality day capper. I guess too many people don't realize it's a thing, which is at least a solvable problem...

I think what happens is that the Epic crowd, like the Animal Kingdom crowd, mostly shows up real early in the morning.
By 10:00PM, most have left, and the few remaining are worn out from a too long day in the park. It's also an advantage
for the people like me that slept late, and stayed late. Rides in the evening are mostly fairly short waits. The Epic touring
that's the most successful is opposite what works well in most theme parks, with the exception of AK.

Are weekdays generally busier than weekend? Looking at the wait times on the app throughout the week today didn’t look as bad as other days but also just a broad generalization on my part.

Going for a day next weekend and trying to figure out the best day to go between Thursday-Saturday.

Yep, best day to go is usually Sunday, Saturdays aren't too bad either.

I've been told by an old time insider that Epic attendance is down from the near max attendance days it experienced in October from the HHN tourists. Generally has been in the high teens daily in November....Sundays, of a non holiday week, seems to be the best times, especially after 5:30 PM.
I did non Holiday week Sundays twice in November and ride times were very low once the sun went down. All those early risers start leaving.
If there's not significant breakdowns, which are still an issue, Ministry and Mario Kart gets shorter after 7:30 PM. Monsters is almost always short, all day long. Some Saturdays get pretty busy, but next week should still be a low attendance week for all the parks. Your Thur. Friday Saturday should
have the shorter lines starting around 7:00 to 7:30 PM. Not as good as Sunday.Best touring is to make sure you have enough energy to stay in the park until 10:30 PM when the excellent Fountain Show is over. .....Late mornings through afternoon have the highest line waits, and seem to have the most breakdowns/delays.

Thanks. Sounds like Sunday would have been best but can't do all day at a park that day so would rather not use my one day at Epic there. I did end up getting a multi day express pass so hopefully that will help make enjoying Epic a little easier for a day (as long as rides are up for most of the day.)


Still need to buy my ticket for Epic but looking at the annual pass calendar it looks like all of the days are still available and not much of a difference in price between the days.
