The Journey to Epic Begins Now...

Universal Orlando has shared the first-ever details for its new theme park, Epic Universe, announcing the 5 themed lands featured when the park opens in 2025.

Just watched the video. This basically confirms what I've been saying for the past couple of years. Looking at the park as 'four' lands was shortchanging it. It's actually 'five' lands, for all intents and purposes, and today Universal confirmed that reality. Celestial Park is the first portal, or land, and it has as much, if not more, than the other four portals. As Universal describes it, '5 incredibly themed worlds'. Bottom line, we should really quit using the four lands description that's been the norm on these threads, and give it the credit Epic deserves. It's 'Five Worlds', and an individual portal for each world.....And by the way, this was an excellent presentation by Universal. And most especially it shows what the park will look like to an individual at ground level, with the mature foliage, trees, and such helping to create an immersive and beautiful setting....Thumbs up to Epic and Universal.

Losing my mind over this Mario themed shop in Celestial Park. It looks so elegant, and they have so many characters on display...View attachment 20513
They even have Toadette on display...will we finally get Daisy and Toadette merch?

But weirdly enough, I'm the most excited for Celestial Park. It's cool getting a new original theme park area from the major two for once.

Two restaurants are named on the blog post from Universal: Atlantic and Blue-Dragon Pan Asian.

Still not a fan of the IPs used here…but this looks awesome. The fly-through video is an amazing hype tool—this looks like it could be the best theme park in the world*

*among mainstream brands, no I haven’t been to the really elaborate European parks lol

Ooo can I ask why you don't like the IP selection? Just out of curiosity.

And we're getting a massive, beautiful original concept land. In 2025!

They just don’t move the needle for me, personally. On paper I guess Harry Potter is my “favorite” but I’m not deep enough into that lore to care about whatever they’re shoehorning into Paris.

What’s great about this park though is that only Nintendo Land’s aesthetic will really be deeply tied to the IP. Dragons should work as a generic Viking village, Monsters seems like it’ll have a unique atmosphere (I’m still holding out hope they go to the tacky roadside attraction route personally) and I really love Paris (so sign me up for a 1920’s idealization).

i think "game changer" is too often used but this truly is a game changer
Great Reveal today

Very excited for the individual lands, but Celestial Park is going to be something else - especially at night.

I'm also super grateful for the insights on these boards and especially the IU team & @Alicia ! Now everyone can be as excited as we've been talking about this park!
yep didnt realize how cool this area is gonna be truly incredible
