We booked Terra Luna for September for $130 a night. Such good value!

The complaints I've read are that it looks like a "value hotel". Who woulda thought a Prime Value Hotel looks like.... a Prime Value Hotel.

Personally, I think it looks great. Didn't need to be fancy when Helios is nearby.

There are definite criticisms, but some stuff I've seen screams tribalistic hot takes.

From what's been shown and such, the hotel honestly looks great! Uni and Loews have done a really good job balancing a nice hotel with an affordable price point, and this looks like no exception.

If I decide to go with a more budget friendly option for my trip later this year, I'll be happy staying here!

The report on WESH includes some AMAZING nights shots from their chopper! Be sure to watch to the end for Fyre Drill at night which looks great—

There is more night footage that’s running on this morning’s newscast, so I expect they’ll put out another video later with more night shots.

I appreciate the commitment to not include commentary over your tour videos lol.

None of that "check out this nice bed here.. really soft blankets.. nice nightstand next to it..."

Yeah, it’s a $150 a night hotel… the bar on that should be is it nicer than a Hampton Inn? Yes? Alright, good enough because you’re also getting park benefits.

I really like all of the indirect lighting in the rooms. Putting what appears to be the reading light on the ceiling is an odd choice, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s tied into the backup power as the emergency lighting for the room.

It’s comparable in price to the lowest price point of the surrounding Marriott hotels with a better location and perks you can only get staying in a Universal hotel.

Walked around the hotel yesterday. It’s nice! I like it better than Endless Summer which I’ll admit isn’t saying a lot. I will say they’ve obviously learned a lot from the previous properties. The layout itself is nice, it flows well. The pool deck is massive and the pool bar is absolutely fantastic.

The rooms are functional and modern. The amenities while small and basic are still there. The drink and food options are quite good! I highly recommend the raspberry and cream mini pancakes, the strawberry cream cheese pastry and obviously the monkey bread.

Something I think they need to work on ( and it appeared they were) were the sight-lines. Unfortunately this isn’t something they can control above the first floor, but while standing in the lobby you can clearly see straight through into the apartment complex across the way and it does impact the seclusion I like on a vacation. Again you can’t control that once you reach upper levels but it is something that should be addressed before Tuesday.

Okay so I don’t love it. It’s cool in places, but not my favourite design. The inside is very stark, the pool area incredibly dull.

BUT - for the price… I’d probably stay here.
