Very interesting. Can you mark the location of the access point on a map for us to better visualise it? Would be much appreciated, thanks.

@ProjectUniversal has dropped his latest youtube video. It shows extensive newt fencing and what looks like digging in the Badger area.

That digging looks like they re building pools or ponds. Dig a hole, line it with sand, then add a waterproof liner. It’s like a mini-theme park for the wildlife. Nice.

Indeed. Very exciting stuff as the new habitats have to be made and populated before land clearing, grading and enabling works can begin

Great updates - and very, very good signs that Universal are confident that 1) they want to proceed, 2) they will get the necessary permissions.

I know this isn't quite the 'go/no-go' point, but is reassuring to see a steady stream of enabling work on site.

I think from a Universal standpoint, the go/no go decision was set in concrete when they announced the Park in April. Announcing it with the government likely means they've signed contracts that won't be cheap nor easy to break if they randomly decide 'nah we're not doing it'.

So as soon as the greenlight for the SDO is given I expect full steam ahead.

Thanks to @ProjectUniversal for his usual excellent work, we have pictures of large machinery on the concrete slab. Seems they are removing the large mounds of rubble and crushing them down to stabilise the ground around the slab. Very exciting stuff.

Thanks @ProjectUniversal our man on the ground, we have a very exciting update tonight. They are what looks like breaking up the concrete slab at night.

@masekwm is there something happening over by the Amazon Warehouse off Swallow way?

Looks like they are clearing trees and doing surveys for the junctions to take people onto the Universal land near Broadmead Road?

Theres traffic lights on Bedford Road and traffic management on Swallow way apparently…so both sides of the A421…

Can you get your drone up?

@ProjectUniversal has commented in his videos that they're doing ground works in that area but we've not had a proper look yet. Have you seen if they are clearing trees on that larger area directly in front of the Amazon warehouse? Because that's where the overpass will begin.

Yeah, hard to tell from ground level but looks like that area you said. Was hoping a drone might be able to make out the footprint, to see if it looks junction shaped .

It doesn’t look like there is a lot of room to work in between the current a421 and the Amazon access road. It’s gotta be a bit tight surely?

Hopefully @ProjectUniversal or @masekwm will take a close look some time soon. Doesn't help that the concrete slab is a hive of activity, with the slab being broken up for suspected landslip remedies.

Sounds like a continuation of the works they’ve been doing in the transport hub field, this was from start of November

I’m hoping to get along there this week, the slab works are interesting and it’ll be good to see them documented - but want to keep on top of the other bits going on, explains why I couldn’t see anyone in the field last week
