SDCC its cool but I have not seen one thing as detailed as BTTF or D&D but its your opinion and sucks you didn't enjoy and thanks for sharing your thoughts

I wanted to point out if your an AP or ticket holder you can also upgrade your ticket and pay 50 bucks for the event...which is a great deal.

I also plan on going back next Thursday as in addition to the other two trips I have planned...honestly for the every day I have more time to think about the event I just enjoyed it so much.

Not saying they can't improve it but man the things that worked...really worked for me and excited to go back...honestly I'd go back this weekend if I already didnt have plans.

Also I did the survey and wont talk about whats on it but whats off of it....No Demon Slyer or My hero...come on who is writing these things? Just bemuses me so much they refused to talk about two of the biggest two Anime's running right now but of which have made some serious money off movies in the US

I forgot to share this but Universal got back to me on the food availability and the question of early access for Yoshi
Screenshot_20250501_150337_Gmail.jpg
Kinda sucks there's no early access to the activities, but I'm not sure I fully buy their word on the food. Can anyone who has visited the park since FFN began attest?

For now I'll assume their word and just get the BTTF stuff for lunch and save the Yoshi stuff for dinner.

Somebody doing event coverage implied Yoshi started greeting guests at 6:30, but I haven't gotten a second source to confirm that... I'm going on Saturday, so I may be able to check it out. The hope is I can complete the "scavenger hunt" as soon as it starts and hopefully only face a (relatively) brief wait for the pink or blue guy.

Well, if you go during daytime hours, please see if you can ask a TM outside of Toadstool Cafe about the food if you're able to.

So things can change but when I went and from live streams I've seen the SNW area is closed until 7 PM. People were lining up for the land early but didn't let people in until 7 PM

Wicked and One piece characters as well don't come out until 7 PM

Really only JJK show, D&D and Star Trek are open during EA. HP area is closed off, no BTTF and I'm pretty sure even the rides are closed during EA as well

REVIEW: Universal Studios Hollywood Launches the Inaugural Universal Fan Fest Nights

After months of anticipation, Universal Studios Hollywood has officially launched its all-new after-hours event, Universal Fan Fest Nights, marking a profound investment into a brand-new entertainment offering at the theme park. Though Halloween Horror Nights operates under the same event hours –

Not sure if people saw this, or it this guy is even legit, but this is pretty interesting...

He's responding to the notion of brining UCM to FFN.

Eh. I don't buy it. Year round monsters at USH again one day, yes. Them included in FanFest, extremely doubtful. They fit nicely with HHN, where they belong event-wise

Well a Monsters filled event in little Europe would be really cool so I'm down

But in the mean time....HHN could use some characters to meet and maybe try some experiences there?

I wish HHN could also bring back mini mazes/houses. Something just quick and easy you can do after the hours of standing on lines

Anyway I hear surveys are all different for everyone...so I did hear Dragonball and other animes were included in some peoples stuff so hoping they are really looking into Dragonball...if you guys think the hype for One piece is big...haha nothing compared to DB which has had a HUGE american following since it was on Toonami all those years ago and dragonball super got a lot of new people hooked to it as well
A DBZ show in Dreamworks would be insanely cool and the meet and greets with Goku, Piccolo, Vegeta, Gohan and Videl (maybe as a couple or in there super hero costumes)

The Villains would also get big lines like Cell, Freaza and Buu

Depends on what you’re buying. If you’re buying into the idea that UCM will 100% come to this event, then yeah, I’m with you, because we can’t predict the future. But Epic Universe and HU is proof that they see this property as evergreen, not seasonal. So, buying into the possibility is a pretty decent bet.

Like, I could see them bringing elements of Dark Universe to FFN Hollywood, similar to how they brought elements of USJ’s Wizarding World here. It seems very much in the realm of possibility.

Also I stalked this Spencer person and they check out, I found the LinkedIn haha

Did you even read what I said?

I said the Universal Monsters will always be present at USH one way or another, not seasonal unless it's HHN related.

But I'd rather not see them wasted on FanFest. If you're going to do that, you might as well adopt the Scream Break concept & give us a house.

The funny part is they cut things too

People online are hoping it comes back so we can get the Time Machine being sent back in time like they heavily hinted at before the event opened

So I definitely won’t be surprised if this comes back next fan fest (if we have one) with some extra bells and whistles

So my Scary Farm Knotts friend went last night, as expected, he thought it was an "awesome event".

He got a photo with Blue Yoshi. Forgot to ask how long he waited.

He thought he was giving D&D spoilers with a story post of the Xanathar puppet. I told him Universal showed that off way before the event started lol

I have a feeling they'll be investing heavily in the Back to the Future experience and similar immersive offerings given that it's the runaway hit of the event.

Does anyone know if CreepLA was consulted in any way for the BTTF FFN event? It's totally like something they would do, and I believe they've worked with Universal before for special promotional events.

Update on the 49 dollar upgrade in park

It includes early access, that’s the best deal I’ve ever heard for a theme park. Fan fest is easily worth 50 bucks especially when you can start at 5:30 pm and stay until 2AM

Just what a deal, good on you universal

Also the tram is so great right now because hill valley is a mini attraction on it right now, I love how the park got some limited time food and extra little touches in the park that are just free and apart of your normal ticket

Wow, that’s an astonishing deal. Like, “tell my friends to take advantage of this if they can” great deal.

Unless you really want to do the meet and greets, you’ll be fine. Wait times have been pretty low for Star Trek and D&D.
