Universal Fan Fest Nights 2026

I am sure there are people on here who know better than me: how was the Yoshi M&G and Egg Hunt from a line perspective later in the evening?

We had early entry and went first thing last year but it STILL felt like a slog.

I am thinking of retooling my plan to put it later in the evening, but wanted to know what the lines were like for those who checked it out.

It was one of the last things I did for the night which was probably a mistake. By the time I went most of the lines for the stickers were pretty long; this was around 9:30 on the first night, so there’s a chance I was subject to some operational snafus.

Nothing official but Five Fires posted Jurassic props are popping in the lower lot up near where the Jason house was

So
1) My guess is we are getting a Jurassic area or attraction (like the HP one we are getting)
2) I guess they are not building the rumored warehouse until summer or not until after HHN this year

Anyways, it'd be really sick if the space they cleared the way for finds FFN use this year.

Could be. They've reused them many times for HHN and even FFN last year. Nonetheless, this looks like JP material.

For FFN, I'd assume for D&D? I didn't know the old ET props find usage even to this day. Then again I don't have the strongest memory of the queue since I only did the ride once before it closed, and it was when I was very little and couldn't remember much (aside from having it greatly fuel my then-irrational fear of ET; I got creeped out by the other green planet denizens).

I'm not holding out hope for more than an elevated Jurassic Park meet and greet, but even that would go a long way towards making the event feel more fleshed out.

Here's whats odd about the Jurassic situation. The casting for "Nedry, Wu, Hammond & Malcolm" did not explicitly say "for FanFest" unlike the auditions for D&D, Nintendo, Scooby-Doo/Monsters, OnePiece stunt show..

While this is interesting activity in the F13 queue space, I'm not sold on it being FanFest related until they officially announce it (which would be an odd inclusion considering Jurassic's presence at Mega Movie Summer last year)

We're still waiting on the DreamWorks overlay & UBE location to get announced. Plus we're literally two months away from FanFest. So they need to hurry up!

Gonna pull a @Legacy and reiterate:

As far as I have been aware, the IP fell through for what would've been in there. Won't be saying what it is, but it is a shame things happened the way they have.

Plus side--they should be able to start work on UBE for HHN much earlier this year without any real issues.

Thats what I figured. It did seem odd for no casting emails in regards to whatever was going into Ube. Should've just left FALLOUT in place lol

I'd have been down for another round as a Ghoul

tbh Fallout...didn't really do as well as I thought it would've. Consistently was one of the lower wait time based experiences, so I could see USH not being as gung-ho (also, they didn't really have time or choice when it came to figuring out a replacement; so it seems the better option is not to invest into the capital just encase if issues arise on budget bloat).

It's why I kind of wonder if the IP-Holder's relationship with UDX (atleast for USH) might be strained after this. Think this was more on the parent company not wanting to play with what USH creatively was wanting to do with the specific IP.
