How Long do we think they will inform guests before the land closes?
Like I know it was much much smaller and not as liked but they gave us....2-3 weeks before Supercharged closed
But I'm hoping for a 6 months announcement so people can say there goodbyes
Also another thought came to me, if the land is gone...the characters in Theory could meet in other area's of the park right?
I actually wonder about this too--because of how much it's going to affect; I have to think when they are gearing up fully to announce the closure, they might *need* to have this be out in advance.
Depending on how long this takes, it's going to force over 9 food spots to dip for a undetermined period of time; until they can either have dethemed environments that can reopen without issue; or rethemed food environments to match whatever the new IP comes in.

I've also been thinking with
@ethanuniversal on the matter too--and I wonder how much it impacts Kirk Douglas Dr, because if they need to grade alongside the hillside and demolish The Simpsons Ride; that kind of puts the road into a more questionable spot. It'd likely force their hand to re-route the Studio Tour to skip the Front Lot, and the ADA Shuttle Drop Off/Pick-Up Area underneath The Simpsons Ride to do the process in the Tour plaza itself now.
It's not an ideal circumstance. One has to think considering how long that main building has been on the hillside, that it is going to force Universal to invest a bit of money into regrading and demolishing the building completely; to ensure it can be strengthened and made to last for the decades to come.
Unlike Orlando, to where once you knock down the Simpsons Ride building the retheme process shouldn't be so hard there; we made the intentional choice to make our Springfield a core part of the park infastructure. And I wonder how much do they regret that decision.
