VelociCoaster was also (basically) an addition to the park. Or, at very least, a significant trade-up from an abandoned walkthrough.

Yeah no, the coaster is definitely a lateral move for USF. It doesn’t help expand the parks roster by any means, or fix the issues the park currently faces.

But It’ll be a better coaster. I don’t think anyone disputes that.

Not necessarily, they do produce other kinds of attractions.

What dark rides, if any, have they been involved with?

E.T. Adventure is the big one that comes to mind. Intamin provided the ride system, while Sally Dark Rides created the show elements.

Their new “multi dimension mover”, next gen trackless dark ride looks interesting.. not sure how that would fit with Pokémon or Zelda though?

Pharaoh’s Fury in South Korea, Sultans Adventure in Taiwan are two listed on their website. But what catches my eye is the brand new multi dimension mover technology they just introduced.

Quite a bit, actually. A good amount of boat dark rides (Pirates, Small World, Frozen and various other ones), EMV rides like Dinosaur, and most recently Danse Macabre at Efteling which feels like the current "Oooh, I want that!" ride by various folks, myself included.

I know this isn’t remotely the point, but I don’t see a world where Nintendo isn’t going to be added to both older parks.

They did it with Potter to sell multi day tickets and by all accounts it worked.

Potter and Nintendo both have fan bases that will go to theme parks just to see those one IP’s. Universal knows that.

The notice says “specialty equipment.” If it was a ride the description normally mentions that, yeah? It’s way too early for ride parts to show up when they haven’t demolished the building yet.

This is an interesting thought, honestly. Curious if Nintendo could want Epic Universe to be the Nintendo park.

(I highly doubt it because SNW is in USH and USJ, but yeah)

As Alicia and others have said, that NoC is not related to the Lost Continent project.

This document illustrates the dividing line between the IOA and USF (B) parcels of land - so you can see how the new coaster and its related buildings are located across both parcels listed at the top of this NoC.

Given the expiration date of late February, I’d wager that this NoC is likely for the track switch hardware that will be located in the Citywalk/Spike section, as well as the Station and Maintenance Bay areas.

Thanks for the clarification. This is a prime example that I only trust IU info, and not
the wild speculations of outsiders.
