Well, if the Chus aren't enough, there's always Tears of the Kingdom's Gloom Hands. They even hunt you for bonus thrills. :) Nothing quite like cresting a hill or paragliding down to a field, seeing a puddle of Gloom, assuming it's just another puddle to avoid as you walk by, only for this to happen:

The best times. XD

"The Goo Factor" is oft forgotten in these conversations, but I can assure you it's a major centerpiece of the approval process at the highest levels. Bob Iger has historically been very Pro-Goo, as can be seen in the Pandora queue and the Star Wars Land milk offerings.

Apologies for the double post, but it's an entirely seperate thought and it's been a few days.

I went to Lost Continent today, and with all of the Dragons stuff around, it was the busiest I've seen the area in a while. It felt like a sleepy pass-thru land before but people were stopping in the stores and looking at props and taking pictures with Toothless. It's also only the Bazaar area, so the front area with Mythos and the back of the land with the Halloween shop were untouched.

I also think the theming just fits incredibly well. There was already a bunch of nostalgic Dragon merch, now the land has some life in it again to match that direction. It's also all just well built? The wall art looks like it's always been there, Stormfly out front looks incredible; it all just flows really naturally.

I think LC could stay in this state for a good while and be just fine, for better or for worse. It's obviously unfortunate that we might not see movement here for a bit, but if that was always gonna be the case as UDX works at improving USF and Epic for a bit, I'm glad that this land isn't just standing in mediocrity. It feels kinda energized again, and that is a win for the land and the park.

Though, I wasn't a fan of them playing Katy Perry "Firework" when Tigress showed up. :nervous: If HTTYD was a tasteful cheap Dreamworks layover, that definitely was not. Suddenly made it all feel like a Six Flags haha.

With Disney, Universal, and SeaWorld now all actively promoting "cool zone" areas, should we expect more of these areas within the parks in a permanent venue soon? What happens when LC work happens (if it ever does)? Do they just move this to the TL amphitheater?

They obviously know it's a necessity during the summer months (and have made improvements), so it's not out of the question that it's a possibility in the near future.

While they do this year round, SeaWorld is heavily promoting a "beat the heat" promo at their parks by giving out free refills with the purchase of any sized souvenir cup. Is this something we can see UOR/WDW do? I'd love for them to sell cheaper plastic bottles that are easy to refill throughout the park.

With summers getting hotter and more miserable, it just makes sense to add places to cool off. Cheap and easy additions that can be added anywhere.
