SNW was closed today, and allegedly won’t reopen until Wednesday according to the TMs.

To be expected during previews. They're still working on stuff.

The word I got was Nintendo went through and saw a bunch of issues they want fixed— mostly paint that looked sloppy/unfinished.

I can tell from bioreconstruct photos that a lot of areas didn’t look finished.

Look at the wall surrounding the land for instance the and the mountain backdrop being smeared.
They clearly dropped everything to be open for the previews.

Did anyone get a photo of the link stained glass window ? Would love to see it , or any other hints at Zelda. Including the “hero” Parking logo?

Awesome ! So highly likely they will be going with an Ocarina of Time style ride as opposed to breath of the wild. Was curious considering how popular the new games are

Considering they have a Nintendo section at Citywalk rn, and it doesn’t feature Zelda (to my latest knowledge), this is indeed telling. It’s certainly not subtle.

Interesting that they’re using the Twilight Princess designs. They’re the most “general”, I guess, but the actual game is the least accessible to play in 2025.

It’s making me think of the dragon and beastly kingdom references all over animal kingdom when it first opened. Maybe they’re truly planning on this being the next major expansion.

Beastly Kingdom was meant to open with the rest of the park before it got shelved.

Thought for awhile they may do a wind waker style ride to keep in theme with more “family friendly” and match more with Mario

Donkey Kong Mine Cart Madness might have been the most fun I had on a ride in the park. My brain was not able to discern that the track jumps were fake in the moment and I was actually screaming my head off when I would see one coming.

Now THIS is a psychological thrill ride. :lmao:

Perhaps it's because the land previously existed in Japan and partially in Hollywood....but it seems discussions of Nintendo are kind of fifth among the five lands. But that's probably going to be more an IU Forum thing than a General Public thing.

Yep. We're not seeing a lot of coverage right now because a bulk of the people who post here have already experienced or reviewed coverage of the Hollywood and/or Japan offerings. They aren't "new" in the same way, even though Yoshi and DK are making their U.S. debuts.

Walking around Epic and seeing the sheer volume of Nintendo merchandise has me thinking it’s going to be #1 with the GP.

That's my belief, too. I think a more diverse group of people are going to experience SNW at Epic compared to Japan and Hollywood. Orlando is just such a mecca for tourists from all over the globe.

As a Travel Agent, the ONE thing and i really do mean ONE THING that clients have been asking about is the "Nintendo Park." That's what they're calling EPIC. Y'all might not be feeling it, but it's a game-changer and Universal is going to want to expand Nintendo ASAP with the money they're about to make from Nintendo alone.
