eh….wake me when we don’t have to make reservations. Food is fine, but it is NOT worth all of that hastle. There are far better eateries in the park like Three Broomsticks or even Minions Cafe! Seriously Minions Cafe is criminally underrated.

It's just funny to me because at Epic Universe you don't need a reservation lmao. At least that's how it was when I was last there, you would think at that park of all places they would be required

^I would imagine at Epic, there are so many other themed places to eat. Not so much at USH.

From what I understand, the Mario, Luigi, and Peach costumes are really intensive and heavy. I've heard them compared to FNaF Springlock suits haha. With Toad and DK, they also are just really difficult to operate and are largely built more to appease Nintendo's strict guidelines than to provide a comfortable performer experience. Really difficult to consistently cast performers with the right dimensions too.

I'm sure neither fall were easy on those performers. The Toad M&G was knocked out of early openings for Epic because that fall specifically broke the head, and they only had a limited number of usable Nintendo-approved heads.

I'm sure that Nintendo will take all the wrong lessons from the multiple, very public SNW fall incidents at UDX parks, and tighten the belt on Entertainment even further, without giving anything in return.

Kept forgetting to share this, but as of October 25th, we've got out first non-Mario merch in Hollywood in the form of the Pikmin!

They were $22 a pop, and on closer inspection on the tags, these are the San-Ei manufactured ones. Normally also on the Nintendo store for cheaper, but they're sold out right now.

I wish the lower lot store had more of a focus on Zelda, Fire Emblem etc....to me its such a waste to do more generic Mario Merch you can buy at 3 other stores

I'm hoping that Pikman coming to the store is them testing that

I don't think we'll ever get Fire Emblem merch, but I don't think they'll stop at Pikmin. I bet they slowly roll out DK, Kirby, Zelda if that ends up coming to UOR and possibly Splatoon. Considering we'll probably never get any kind of Nintendo expansion besides a seperate Pokemon land at USH, I don't see why they wouldn't expand the range of Nintendo series represented in the current land.

FE is pretty big....I would not be surprised if one year we get FE meet and greets at Fan fest...it makes too much sense

Is it? It has its following, but the bestselling game in the series only sold about 3.5 million. Compare that to the sales and merchandising popularity of Animal Crossing, Pokémon, even Kirby and Splatoon, and DK which managed to sell the same number of copies in the first six months of a systems life… I just don’t see Fire Emblem ever coming to the parks. Could be wrong though, and it’s not like I’m against it.

Pikmin is about the same size in terms of sales, but it has the advantage of being more popular in merchandise and as a design than it is as an game, and being Miyamoto’s favorite thing ever lol
