That's the easy way to do and it works well from a particular perspective. Disney have been doing this for a long time with Haunted Mansion.

This sounds like it might be something new.

I really want to see how this hologram stuff works. I wonder if it'll be a more refined version of the tech used for the MJ hologram.

Disney is going to put ghosts in one of their new rides? Have the Imagineers been snorting Pepper or something?

You mean the same Tech Walt Put in the Haunted Mansion, and magicians used in the 1800s?

"The floating image may be in a space in which viewers may be present such that the viewers can be near to the image and can, in some cases, walk about and interact with the floating image."

Yea that isn't in The Haunted Mansion and certainly not in the 1800's

Peppers ghost? The recent holograms use a blend of that effect and programming animation with improved light effects. Looks pretty different from the light shined on animatronics in Haunted Mansion. So no, I don't mean the same tech.

Question: How many restaurants is this land expected to have? I know about the Cantina, but anything else? Quick Service, food carts, etc?

Cantina sit down, a quick service, and likely snack stands.

Looks good. I think the exteriors, shops, and restaurants will be ready for “late 2019” but I worry about the ride systems. Fingers crossed.

I don't have too much concern. Disney likes to let projects take longer than they need to in order to spread costs out over quarters a lot of times, but this is a case where it's one of Disney's biggest IPs and they've announced an opening time frame already. I'm fairly confident Disney will be doing all they can to ensure the land opens by for the Holiday crowds. They'd lose out on too much money by failing to get it open on time.

Also why being second to open is a blessing in disguise.
