I was able to view all the different sequences on my six rides tonight. Very good (and needed) upgrade to the attraction.

How is the motion and projection timing? I mean any problems with motion sickness? It seems the older I get the harder it gets for me to do the small interior spaces involving motion. Case in point Mission Space, Wild Artic, and even the FJ on some occasions but I think that involved fish and chips along with a mug of frozen butterbeer.

Trust me, I'm with you on that . But the motion on this is very fluid, IMO. And the projection is flawless. The original Star Tours made me on the verge of sick every time. But this one is super smooth. And the 3D is crystal clear.

Anyone else watching the webcast? It's pretty cool. It's nice to see all the celebrities and interviews with guests.

I watched it. It was pretty cool. Nice to see George Lucas. The two hosts of the webcast aren't too good though. Almost no enthusiasm.

They're pretty bad. Especially when the girl called the guy by his actual name

I heard that little blooper, haha. I chuckled, you would think these guys would at least had a couple shots of espresso to at least charge them up a bit. I felt like I was watching a mediocre red carpet premiere for a bombshell movie. LOL! A little cheesy.

The opening crawl was really cool though, I wasn't expecting it.

THANK you... I mean, seeing GL was good, and Anthony Daniels, but the hosting really needed a shot of something....

I liked when Lucas gave his speech. But everything else was definitely cheesy. Sometimes good, sometimes not haha

It's started a minute or so ago, if you start now you shouldn't miss much.

Just finished watching the re-play.... It was ok I guess. The whole thing was VERY cheesy and over-the-top (including the hosts and the Star Tours lady on the main stage). Still, I am excited to ride the attraction.

OK, so I rode ST 2.0 twice today and got 6 different scenes. First I will say that the HD 3D imagery looks fantastic. And I really like the randomness of the new films. But some of the films had a been there done that feeling. The Hoth section is really bad since it is basically Wild Arctic with At-Ats and Mission Space's teetering of the cliff edge ending.

All in all I think the upgrade is great, but it is still the Star Tours we all know and love.

I'm excited to eventually ride, but that's the vibe I'm getting from it.

Here's an on-ride video I found on YouTube. This video had Vader, Hoth, Ackbar, and Naboo in it.

Even though my feelings on having Star Wars and Indy at Disney are mixed. (Not getting into that right now). I do have to say that they did a pretty good job with the upgrade. However, the biggest problem I see with it is that everything just seems to zoom by way too fast. The Star Wars saga is full of beautiful visuals, and it's a shame we hardly get any time in the ride to look at things. It's just craziness throughout the entire thing, even moreso than the original version, leaving pretty much no time for a breather.
