Social Media Changes

With the merger almost complete, it's time to address some social media changes.

• Twitter

We will now be tweeting from @insideuniversal from the old OU Twitter account. @orlando_united will now be a dormant account along with the old IU Twitter page, which is now known as @IUArchives.

Make sure to follow @insideuniversal for some theme park photogin. The old @orlandounited account will now go dormant.

• YouTube

The @OrlUnited YouTube channel will now go dormant - so make sure to subscribe to @InsideUniversal for videos now.

• Facebook

Ok, so this isn't done yet; mostly because Facebook seems a lot more anal about transferring, and merging, and changing... etc. So as of now - both accounts are open. We will be posting under the current Inside Universal Facebook page, but don't be surprised if you see OU's FB become Inside Universal too before a merge of both.

You should re-upload some of the best videos from OU onto IU. For example, those history of HHN videos could be re-uploaded onto the IU channel but with updates.

It's awesome that you're able to archive the now dormant accounts. Do we know whats going to happen with the OURadios though? will they just be archived like the social media accounts.

Facebook has finally - FINALLY! - merged our accounts. No impact to you whatsoever - just now all under the same page.

And reminder - if you guys haven't done so - to follow the updated social accounts.

Also - if you followed OU on iTunes - you're going to need to subscribe to Inside Universal's feed now. OU podcast channel is dead.
