IDC what the excuse is, this is unacceptable on MM’s behalf to not acquire this IP.

That's literally insane. You would think SFMM would be the prime target for this.

They are clearly waiting to announce their lineup at Midsummer Scream, the question is will any of these IPs be incorporated? Last year, they were very clear that existing original mazes (specifically in the warehouse area that houses Condammed/Truth or Dare/Vault 666) would be getting some type of switch up. So the new stuff could be essentially anything original, an un-announced IP, or something from the list of IP announced for other parks (which is now: The Conjuring, Saw, The Strangers, Blair Witch, Army of the Dead, and Jason Universe). I’d personally love to see a mostly original year, however the crowds that come with the IP are generally larger, more dedicated to buying merch, and have a built in love for the concept.

You know what’s weird? We usually get a leaked list or an official lineup from a website before MSS. It’s been absolutely quiet for MM.

I agree but damn, can we at least get one announcement? If it’s majority original mazes, I’d like to know in advance.

Ohhh I 100% agree

Like Mildsummer is amazing but...kind of not a fan of how its pushing annouments back. You at HHN Orlando they have everything done....we have to wait a few weeks because there is a Con

Its both cool but also....I rather just know before and use the cons to show off art and talk about the process

But we are like the only to, many I think like the spectacle of it all

At least FF tickets aren't on sale with almost nothing announced, I really am not a fan of HHN puts out tickets for an event with like one or no houses announced

5 years ago, a Jason maze would've tricked me into going to Fright Fest again. I've seen enough video of the new IP mazes at SFMM to know whether it is a fan favorite or even a white whale, it doesn't matter, it is a lost cause lol

*one week later...*
*SFMM announces Scream and Resident Evil*...........I hate you and take my money

They did it, they have an all season express. The 50 dollar ticket for most will be a great deal but man for 40ish bucks more then the HHN season pass I wont have to wait in any lines any more? Sold, I go over 12 times a season. I can hit every house every night now (also with Trick R treat where it is this year...that house is going to have a longer line)

I think one night of Fright Fest will be plenty for me. It's great on a Thursday night if you want to hit iup the houses and get a few coasters in with short waits.

For sure, I just love these haunt events and live close enough where I can get there easily. Last year a few of the houses had 30-40 mins waits (Saw and Carnage) on some nights so I'll grab the season express because why not, but not everyone needs it

Food for thought, I wonder if the big thing is that houses in Samurai Summit get moved; and as a result there is no IP houses this year because they’re having to spend the money on the houses that are in the mountain.

If they move a 15 year old house....lol

Another Six Flags park just announced Blizzard's Diablo series coming as a house, so I assume we will have IP houses but because of Mildsummer we have to wait and hear which ones

This is nuts. They have never been this quiet before. It better be worth it.

My hope is for Diablo and Jason

Diablo would be perfect to take over the Conjuring (I just don't why so many liked this house....most of it was empty, no shade on the actors but hald the house is just walking through empyish rooms)

Jason wherever they can fit it

Also I've seen parks do Scarezones with IPs at other six flags park and think ONE (just one) scarezone with IPs would be a win at least for social media so people can show who's roaming the park
