A little update on Arctic rescue. Over at darkoaster at BGW the trains for the ride were spotted being removed from The park. Likely meaning the problem is with the trains.

Are there any updates about Journey to Atlantis? That ride was supposed to open nearly a month ago, and it's been total radio silence ever since, and is still listed as closed on their website.

Ride-wise, this park is really turning into a mess (though at least Arctic Rescue isn't their fault).

The thought crossed my mind recently to pay a visit to this park until I hear that Arctic Rescue AND Atlantis are down indefinitely.

If I’m gonna spend $120-ish to go, those rides better be open.

It’s been consistently testing since May with no visible outside changes

It was testing pretty consistently when I was there in mid-June... but surely, a month of continuous testing (and that doesn't even include possible testing they did before that time) is more than enough?

For a brief moment, they said this was going to open on June 20 (that date was quickly scrubbed). Kinda hints something else must be happening.

The one thing I know is working for them is the concerts. They seem to be pretty packed

At least there's some signs of life there. And as they are Sea World, I'm good with them being aquariums.

Apparently DarKoaster at BGW recently reopened, so there's hope that Arctic Rescue could be reopening in the near-ish future.

Still crazy that the refurbished Journey to Atlantis still hasn't opened yet. It was supposed to open a month and a half ago. What's going on with it? The ride keeps cycling, but no sign of actual opening.

So I visited the new aquarium today it is very small but a welcome addition you can tell It’s very last minute as there’s practically no change from the previous aquarium that closed in 2018 except for the fish. Also, theres a large amount of construction walls piled behind emperor so I’m guessing that means either of the shark or penguin project or both are going to get walled off soon which does explain the last minute opening of the aquarium to try to get some more capacity in the park. Over at arctic rescue, the trains have been removed from the track.

It’s a cool addition but no clue how it would even be a substitute for the penguins let alone with the sharks

Anyway this is a big reason why I won’t have a pass next year

Same price less to do and most likely more crowds at other attractions

IMG_8755.jpegThe octopus sign from the previous aquarium did not return. It’s definitely better than nothing but also nothing to go out of your way for and it’s kind of hidden in the back so once the newness wears off and until the tidal twister project is finally completed it’ll probably be completely dead.
