Putting this out in the universe, hopefully the Hollywood team see the value in RE in the future. It has been in Japan for a while killing it and now with the head of HHN in Vegas saying its a massive success (video below as source)

I hope the team is looking at RE as a perfect IP, it fits for Scareszones/the fire towers, bars, WW stunt show, taking over the plaza, Terror Tram or its own house. Its one of the biggest IPs that also just works for many thing and has the fans to back it to come to this event and elevate the event even more and also make USH some more money. Not to mention a new movie coming out will draw even more general audience eyes to it

So hoping the team can work with Capcom to make this come to life soon

It seems like a matter of time between the new Cregger movie and the presence at Horror Unleashed.

2026 is gonna start in a few weeks and you're already making a sneaky speculation thread for 2027? Buddy, we're finally getting Hellraiser this year. Let's enjoy this year before running full-speed ahead on Resident Evil spec.

But FWIW signs do seem to be a very likely contender for next year's event. For now, let's enjoy the year that's about to start!

Fingers crossed we get one next year with the Creggers' movie that comes out! It would've been cool to get it this year since it comes out next month...but again, fingers crossed we'll get it next year!

I was listening to the panel and heard RE is confirmed to do really really well plus the new it over took FF series

Along with them extended RE out in Vegas....feels like a good time to talk about it

Hellraiser is cool, I think its going to be an amazing house but will call it an indie film compared to this, I have not met many people especially younger people who have seen these films (which is cool, like Ozzy house, I think both will intoduce people to these two "older" IPs)

RE has been big since the movies (even if they sucked) and after see it live in Vegas just feels like the time

Call me a debbie downer but I'll honestly be so pissed if after 20 years the first RE we get is Creggers movie, and thats coming from someone who's super hyped for it. I'm so tired of this trend of only getting video game properties when theres a live action adaptation to tie them into :sob:
Would've been perfect to tie 2026 in with the anniversary year especially when Vegas, which has barely been open for a year, gets representation for it but it is what it is. In the meantime I'll just stare longingly at my like 6 perpetually unfinished RE fan treatments lol.

Listen, we have early 2027 to discuss RE. Let’s celebrate the fact that we have Hellraiser, Sinners, Art The Back, and Freaky Nikki roaming in 2026.

Agreed

I'm hoping for the Video games as well, hopefully with the Vegas event working well we get more based on the games then one movie (which wont be featuring the classic characters)

Like i said to someone else lots of good RE news recently along with them confirming the event did VERY VERY well, so getting on this early

Also this year will be great no one is saying its not but the Purge or Killer Clowns could have been RE and made the event even more hype. To me you can't have too much good in a year and even if I don't hate Killer clowns, Purge is past its date and would have been a fun RE show that would have filled up the stadium which is the point of the venue

I like RE just as much as everyone else. I just rather discuss this after the current szn runs its course.
