Could be possible that the city just gains ownership of the vessel, and decides to decomission and remove the ship from property so that they can turn that and adjacent area into space for the city.

The history of ownership is insane. It would be nice to see it finally repaired but this discussion has been happening almost since it dropped anchor in Long Beach, so anything goes I guess.

Giving this a bump because we are going to California in September. For the locals, do you know if they still do the regular tours during the day when they have Dark Harbor at night?
