Hey my birthday is the 14th as well! Our wand is pretty cool looking.

TSSD, no I told you so's. Everyone is all good on this site!

Ha! It's my wand as well. My b-day in 3/4. It's pretty much straight brown wood with a ruby on the handle.

I love the handle, and the fact that it's nice and straight. (That's what she said, but seriously I like it).

Haha, Thanks for letting me know :-D

EDIT: And I like the Ash wand, except that I don't really know how I feel about the red on the handle.

You are lucky to find the WW stationary as it was not available when we went the weekend of the Grand Opening or even the day before the Grand Opening. I was thinking had I thought of it I would have purchased similar stationary before going to the park to send out to the many children we had addresses for. Instead we were stuck with just Post Cards which I wrote out a simple letter "from" Harry Potter or their fav character and still the kids who received them absolutely LOVED them! When you say WW stationary you mean the parchment and envelope like the owls delivered to Harry or the slender stationary with the house color on one side?

We saw the rolled parchment paper but didn't buy it since it didn't come with envelopes. We bought the one with a Hogswart scene and owl on the paper, and similar on the envelope with a mock wax seal on the back.

Quick Question. Yesterday my Dad bought me one of the Hogwarts Robes from Dervish and Bangs so now I've decided to just complete the look. Now I know they sell the house ties but what about the sweaters? Do they sell and Hogwarts sweaters like the ones worn in the movie? I've never actually been looking for them in the store but I don't remember seeing any. Just a hoodie here and there in Filtch's. Here's a picture of what I'm talking about.

These are the Lochaven sweaters. They make for the films and last year I bought one when they had free shipping. On their site it says they supply the staff working and performing at the theme park. Is this true? I'm going next week but it's a shame they don't sell them there.

I sent in an email asking if the robes are in children or adult sizes, and just got back a weird reply letting me know if I have any problems with the site. Uh...what? Is that their way of saying I don't know, and I can't find out for you?

Also, INT MGT, are those Lochaven sweaters itchy at all? Sometimes my skin doesn't react well with certain sweaters...

I saw a child in a robe today, and it fit nicely, so I assume they have at least two sizes.

When we went, whilst they had the robes and t-shirts relating to HP and the houses (including quidditch shirts), they didn't have any adult-size sweaters or more formal wear (aside from the ties). I saw the jumper that Emma Watson wore in the vid, but they only had childrens sizes, which was a shame since I'd been hoping to get one.

AcidPop, no they are not itchy at all. They are really high quality Scottish lambswool according to the label. Feels like a pringle or lyle and scott and they sell for $150. I had a look at their site again and unfortunately they are not offering free shipping any more. Courier is a rediculous $50 but they have Airmail worldwide for about $7. This is how I got mine when it was free and Airmail only took a few days.

Hey guys! I'm going back tomorrow morning and I cannot remember for the life of me if my stein can get me $.89 refills in the rest of the park. I'll be leaving at 8 am so any help before then would be amazing.
Thanks!

Hey everyone. Just so you know, when I was there yesterday they were not selling the Butterbeer steins. Someone said they were unsure if they would ever be getting them back. Instead they were selling these collectable, plastic cups with the Butterbeer logo on them. Not as cool by any means...but they were priced at $7.25 if memory serves.
Pygmy Puffs were gone; Sugar Quills were nowhere to be seen...I didn't go into every shop, as I didn't have as much time as I'd have liked...but if anyone has any questions I'd be happy to answer them to the best of my ability!!!
And frozen Butterbeer trumps regular, IMHO!

They ran out I bet. They're ok I guess. Also, the soft plastic cups they've been using have run out apparently also, because now they're using bigger and more expensive ones.

It is sad they ran out of the Butterbeer steins. It is so much more convient to have one as we attached them to our back packs with what I call "D" clamps...they look like the same clamps rock climbers use but sell for about $1 at walmart for a set of 2. I was not happy with the Meal Deal cups as they did not leave you hands free to shop or do anything with. You cannot stowe a meal deal cup in your pocket or attach it to your back pack in anyway. You need a backpack big enough to carry it around in and have a place to rinse it out.

--- Update ---

By the way, does anyone know if there is an on line suggestion box for UO? I remember they had feed back cards for WWOHP during Previews but havent heard anything after GO.

I'm sure there's an option where you can contact them online. I've sent them e-mails before, but never suggestions...I'm sure it's somewhere on the site!
And I like the steins so much better...I need to get a clamp though! I usually bring a whole bunch of paper towels and clean it out and then put it in my backpack.

Sometimes when I go on the site they want me to take a survey that allows you to give feedback directly to the manager of that department. You might be able to find it by searching.

What are they made of? Are they just a cheap plastic cup like you would get at a fast food place?
