Does anyone know how big the house banners are? I really want a ravenclaw one, but i don't want to pay $22.95 for a 3 inch banner.

That was a nice read! So there are (or there will be) over 600 different items for sale! CASH COW INDEED!

This is completely off-topic for this thread, but this tidbit from the article ticked me off a bit:
"Maybe Harry Potter will be the Mickey Mouse of Universal," UCF's Pizam said.
First of all, I love HP, more than Universal, but I hope for Uni's sake that this doesn't happen... Still, Universal features so much non-Universal stuff! Even their current ad campaign focuses on HP, Shrek and Spiderman (Potter films are creations of WB, Shrek is DreamWorks/Paramount, Spidey is Marvel-now a Disney company/Sony/Columbia). They should at least put a bit more focus on Universal's characters/pictures like JP, ET, Mummy, etc. It's a bit disheartening... I understand they're featuring their biggest crowd and $ magnets, but it is just a bit sad/pathetic for Universal. :-( They have great stuff, and I'd go to Universal/IoA over Disney ANY DAY, but it's not all on Universal's creative merit... :-( So much is products they bought off others... :-( *sad puppy face* Although, they DO get the creative merit for the ride/theming designs! :-) and that IS wonderful :-)
(Had to end this sad thought on a happy note :P)

Sorry :P That ^ was random... I just felt bad for Uni... I love it SO much, but yeah... I felt like blabbing a little...

Back on topic....

Here you can compare them to some t-shirts and sweaters and other merch around them:

I think I need to re-decorate my room  I like the Ravenclaw banner (I've always considered myself a Ravenclaw, and those online quizzes seem to agree). Wish it was a tad bit bigger, though. I'm also considering getting that Sirius Black wanted poster thing...I wonder if it moves?

While I love all the pictures of the merchandise, the only thing I feel we're missing in this topic is opinions on what the snacks/candy tastes like. I won't be able to head down to Potterland 'til the 21st or so.. so for those of you who've purchased the snacks and have decided not to hoard them 'cause they were $10 a pop, let us all know what you thought of them. For the sake of everyone's sanity, you don't have to give your opinion on Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans. ;P

Ok, I've been wanting to share this for a few days: the acid pops are REALLY SOUR! And my mouth was green for the entire day lol :)

The chocolate frogs... well, the milk chocolate in general, is pretty good, but quite standard, IMO. I like the fudge flies because they are the most "real" in that, it actually feels "squishy" when you eat one because of the fudge filling - sorry kind of gross!

hogs head ale is not bottled. But you can buy bottled pumpkin juice from honeydukes, the butterbeer cart, the magic neep and various other carts

That's awesome. See, that's what I was hoping for. Thanks, Irish08! Anyone else try anything and have opinions of them?

Also, I'd expect the Acid Pop to be sour, but having your tongue turn green for the majority of the day seems awfully fitting. XD

I also know they sell Ice Mice.

I tried the standard Acid Pops they used to sell a couple years ago. I wonder how they compare! I also tried Blood Pops...those grossed me out though. The top coating had a gross texture. Wonder if they're selling them?

I read the article and its really exciting! Sadly it doesn't mention about the cards with chocolate frogs- I guess I'll have to find out when I get there if its only the Hogwarts Founders...

Felipe, thank you so much for labeling the wand pictures with what type of wand it is. I'm so curious to know which birthday wand is which. 2 down 11 to go.
