No, they were both taken, on a elevated boardwalk, at Sawgrass Lake in Saint Petersburg.

^^^^^^^^^ Thanks, I've got a few more I'll have to dig out. All from IOA. Next time I go to UO I'll see what I can do about US.

How can I take Panoramic shots? Do I have to buy a special camera or something?

My cameras have the feature built in that stitches photos together digitally.

You can take a couple of pictures and stich them together with Panoramic software. (Which is what I do) For the software I use Hugin.

My camera has a feature to help you lineup the shots. Many cameras also come with "stitching" software. Panorama software such as AutoPano Pro and AutoStitch is also available.

I have an app on the iPhone 4 called Panorama, and it does a pretty stellar job of doing panoramas. It also can connect to your social networks like flickr, twitter, foursquare, tumblr, facebook etc. I've done a couple of WWHP, I'll dig them up, all done on iPhone.
