Does anybody know (or have ideas concerning) why half of pacific point is no longer accessible? It just has a rope that says "team members only", but there is nothing going on there, it just means that now only half the pacific point is available, the other half of the walkway is just there empty. Doesn't look like there is room there to construct a new ride, since for teh most part the area behind the Pacific Point is access route to the Sea Lion and Otter stadium and the pneumatic gas containers (or whatever that stuff is called) of the Kraken are there as well.

It could possibly be the rumored "Clyde & Seamore go to Mars" show. Or could be just basic renovations.

I thought it had something to do with the development of the breeding program, but not sure on that.

^This. They rope off the top area during non-peak seasons. They will open it all up during peak seasons. The roped off area is also where parts of the Sea Lions Up-Close Tour takes place.
