Last night (Sunday October 26), the 8pm (and possibly subsequent shows) had the strong-man and the woman who is normally with him, missing from the show. Three major differences:

1) The woman who dances (now mostly solo) on the small front stage as the distraction while the lady in white sets up her act, she was instead the main 'holder of the key.'
2) The Nightmare Queen joined the aerial acrobatic act for just the final part with the lady in white and dreamer (but the Nightmare Queen didn't do the aerial duet with the lady in white).
3) As mentioned previously (when the dreamer was missing), this night also had the Nightmare Queen 'pushed into the box' (I guess with the power of the key and love?). The lady in white was 'convinced' not to ascend the ladder by the dreamer, so no one dropped from the top of the magic trick.

I'm hoping the strong-man and his lady are back this final weekend, because the overall show is so much better with them. [Edit: upon rereading I see this coming off as uncaring. I want to stress that more important than the quality of the show, I hope everyone at the show is doing well.]

(Note: I am not speculating as to the reason for why these performers are missing. I'm only posting this as a record for how the show is impacted when certain characters are missing from the show.)

Thanks for confirming that. I won't speculate as to what happened. Whatever it is, whether they return or not, the most important thing is that they are doing OK.

Outside some missing dancers and those adjustments, the show’s set pieces were “as normal”’on Wednesday night.

I usually see the show on Thurs, Fri, and Sun each week, including Thurs Oct 23 and Fri Oct 24, and those nights were as normal as well. Last night (Oct 26) was the first night I'd seen any critical differences in the show.

It blows my mind that they are are able to consistently put on a great performance, 4 times per night, 5 nights per week.

I really hope it comes back next year.

Edit - correct number

4 times a night, but yes it's impressive. 200+ shows is insane
