That's so exciting! Even if it opened a little bit later than I had hoped, it's so cool to have a Nintendo store on North Campus at all. I remember when this was nothing but text rumors on here around late 2023.

Finally got to go see the Nintendo World store at Citywalk, and it's more than I could've hoped for. It's the size of the entire other half of the store, it's actually crazy. I saw merch that I didn't even see at Epic Universe when I went for previews.

It's theming is so bespoke and singular. The store is clearly Super Mario Bros. both inside and out. I honestly expectedly way less, or at the very least, for it to be themed generically so they can phase out the Nintendo stuff over time. but no! It's got a beautifully crafted sign next to all the others! It looks like this is really here to stay! That's SO cool.

Walking into CityWalk on my way to Islands, or HHN, or for Rising Star, and having Question Mark blocks and Warp Pipes greet me as the first thing I see will never get old to me. What an incredibly exciting time to be a Nintendo fan and a Universal fan.

ALSO im gonna gush for a moment THEY WERE PLAYING PINNA PARK MUSIC IN THE STORE???? Like the THEME PARK LEVEL from my favorite mario game MARIO SUNSHINE???? It was a remix too!! It went on for like 4 minutes!! I feel like that's such a deepcut reference but I loved every second of it!! I need to find this store BGM loop!

They did a really great job with the Super Nintendo World soundtrack as a whole. There's a ton of new arrangements, and like you mentioned, there's some deeper cuts in there like Peronza Plaza from Odyssey and Puzzle Plank Galaxy. Hopefully we get an official soundtrack release someday.
